It really depends on the time I have. But I like to hit the treadmill at least twice per day. I can always find 16 minutes to get in 2000 steps.

Me. Walking is the only activity I like to do every day. I did some bicycling but I ended up with a sore back so I mostly stopped except for some very short rides. My goal is 10,000 steps per day. I like using a treadmill. I can use the incline feature and I can use it regardless of the weather. I do at least 10,000 steps per day.

One thing I like about Quest bars is they are *not* chocolate coated. That makes them great for throwing them into your backpack or pocket and they won’t melt. (I think a few new flavors of Quest have a coating of some kind.) Chocolate brownie, double chocolate chunk, mint chocolate chunk are my favorite flavors.

Stop telling yourself you have a “sweet tooth”. There is no such thing. It’s a colloquialism not recognized by science. If you like sweets you’re no different than 99% of people on earth. Try going 1 day, then 2 without sweets. You *can* do it and you’ll be just fine.

Appetizer is the new entree. As always you have to be careful there too. Many appetizers can have more calories than an entree. But usually they’re smaller, cheaper, and are just one item.

There’s no excuse for not logging your food/calories. Once you get your usual foods logged, it takes very little time to log. Just seconds per day. Once you have an accurate diary you’ll see where the problem lies.

My breakfast + lunch is around half my calories for the day. Dinner is the other half. But this is fine with me. I’m not ravenously hungry during the day and I can have a nice dinner.
