I don't know where else to share my excitement about this, but we finally figured out how to make it work so we bought a kotatsu (heated, blanketed table). Now we just need a plush rug and comforter, both of which we can probably get from Walmart or Costco. Once it's all assembled I'll share pics.

CW: 167 We had pizza for dinner last night. Yay salt. =P Being kind of quiet because life is hard and I'm withdrawn so I can't think of anything to say. But I'm watching and reading and proud of everyone's hard work.

CW: 166.4 Slow improvement. But still improvement. We found ground bison at Costco so we're having a slightly fancy dinner tonight. And we bought Ring Fit Adventure on Switch and it kicked my butt completely. I didn't think I was that out of shape. :0

Turns out the downside to having husband around while I get my cardio on is... he makes me giggle! I can't do anything when I laugh. I become utterly helpless. He made me try a song I can't beat yet on double speed so he could laugh at me flailing. =D I am lacking in stamina. I gotta grind stats.

CW: 167 The holiday bloat is easing up slowly. But its fine. I'm still having trouble getting back into things so I definitely haven't been all that great about tracking all my munchies.

Why do nightmares have to hurt so much. It's hard to move when I hurt all over. :( Today was rough in a lot of ways. TGIF.

Hey all our US folk: Everything looks really bad right now and it is. But I love you and you'll be OK. Hang in there @micki48, if a few drinks is what you need then have at 'er, and get through it. The start of the new year didn't magic away all our problems but the year is still full of potential. Keep hope. ❤

I do VR. I have three different games I play when I need a quick burn and can't get it anywhere else. Its as effective as treadmills or whatever, in that it gets your heart rate up and your body moving. Only better because its not soul crushingly boring. ;) Much like any other cardio its not good for weight loss without…

CW: 168.6 It's probably not that bad, we were drinking and eating snacks last night. But that's what the scale says so that's what we'll use for now. Today is the end of my time off work and the end of my diet break. The last of the holiday treats will be gone and things will get back to normal tomorrow. I thought a diet…

Its a pyramid scheme. Be very careful. Those "coaches" are just people who make money by destroying lives so do your best to not rely on them or get sucked in as coaches yourselves. If you can follow up with a doctor every now and then I'd recommend it since there have been cases of Optavia making people really sick.

@conleywoods Good eye, they are literally Red Lobster biscuits, we found the mix at Costco. They are so so good. We spent the night drinking and watching the Kohaku Uta Gassen (red vs white song battle) on NHK. Its honestly really fun to watch Japanese song competitions and game shows. It prompts a lot of discussion about…

Welcome new people! I'll have more to say later. Tonight is this: And way, way too much alcohol. I'm already tipsy! Turns out losing 40% of my mass has severely impacted my ability to drink. :( Used to be able to drink my 6' male friends under the table. Sigh.

I had a shower this morning, since I felt like I could move again. Today is looking better than yesterday, when I needed to lay on the floor for 10 minutes after brushing my teeth. That was a weird experience. -_- I dunno what the heck but this migraine is the worst I've had in ages.
-
Ugh, this is the worst migraine. 😥 Can't look at screens much. Be back more when light doesn't feel like stabby pain.

My favorite is bacon wrapped water chestnuts. You drain a can of whole water chestnuts and soak them in soy sauce for half an hour. Then wrap them in a bit of bacon, secure with a toothpick, put on a baking sheet and pop them in the oven at 400 until the bacon is cooked, about 20 minutes. I can usually cut one strip of…

Ready for this? I ate easily 3-4000 calories yesterday. I ate so much its 10 am the next day and I'm still full! CW: 167.6 That's it. I went up a couple pounds. Probably mostly water and possibly undigested food. You don't even know. I ate. So. Much. And didn't barely dent my 108 lbs lost. I'll be back to normal…

Merry Christmas! The turkey is in the oven and we were gifted some coffee cream filled, chocolate covered rice krispie treats from a local fancy bakery that I can't stop eating. XD I got spoiled absolutely rotten this year as usual. Talked to my dad and grandma. Now we're chilling with Mario Party because whats the…

Everyone who is seeing ups on the scale because of cookies and hot chocolate and snacks and other yumminess: Enjoy! The weight will come back off. You have months of holiday free meals ahead of you. I myself am up 5 lbs but I am still making an unbelievable feast tomorrow and counting none of it. ;)

@conleywoods You're all so wonderful at decorating! Especially compared to me lol. XD
-
We made our house! The decorations immediately got silly.

CW: 166 I blame Rum Chata. They released a peppermint bark flavored one for the holidays and I enjoyed a few glasses last night. Unfortunately, alcohol makes me bloat. We're saving the red velvet cupcake flavored Bailey's for Christmas eve, but I'm betting its unfairly delicious also. =P We're under a snowstorm watch,…

So here's a plan. Tomorrow we're bringing in our bottles to the depot and using that money for the last of the holiday grocery shopping. We have 17-18 giant bags. I'm not proud of that, but it should fund some fancy wine lol. Then I'm making Nanaimo bars. I'm subbing out sugar for sweetener because cutting out 4 cups of…

So much chatter I can't keep up anymore. Its good to see everyone is lively! I've officially moved to maintenance calories for the rest of December. I'm too burnt out to keep at it right now. January can be a new start, for now I need leeway to indulge in hot chocolate. That said, I gotta stop eating cookies for breakfast.…

CW: 165 Friday was our work Christmas celebration, what we could do of it. There was a LOT of food, so I'm not surprised the scale jumped.

Things have been extremely stressful. I met with a surgeon about my stomach and he said he'd love to cut me open but didn't think that would make me better, so he's going to recommend my doctor send me to a gastroenterologist. So more waiting on my stomach pain I've been sick. I only just heard today I'm negative for…

Heck yeah it can be done! Patience and persistence wins the day. :)

PW: 166.8 CW: 163.4 Confirmed now. The scale really only drops during my time of the month, but then it really drops. So odd, but whatever. Yesterday we delivered gifts to all our family, set up the tree and strung up some lights. There are even a bunch of presents under the tree. :)

Well folks, its done. November is coming to a close and I successfully wrote just over 50,000 words of a terrible novel. I also spent many hours procrastinating, reading, stressing and basically being a basket case so I'm honestly glad November is at an end. I should be a little more present in December. I think I took 20…

CW: 166.8 Gaining and losing the same pound is the name of the current game. I wanted to come back and announce a different success, but I have fallen short. I'm only at 49,000 words. D: Detailed descriptions of rocks might be necessary here.

I cried myself to sleep last night after the provincial lockdown update. I'm barely holding on today. I'm not able to pretend any kind of positivity right now.
