I've been counting calories for about 6 weeks, haven't missed a day. This is the first holiday that's come up. I've decided to enjoy myself. I get full pretty quickly anyway. Now that I'm super aware of the calories in everything I'll probably be a little cautious but I can't wait for dinner! Tomorrow back to normal again.

Weight fluctuations are frustrating. I weigh myself too much. The other day I went a little over my daily calories and the next day I was at my lowest weight so far. It's hard but try not to obsess about it.

Bought Easter candies yesterday for my daughter & husband. Was shocked how very high in caloried this stuff is!!

Today was tough. We went to a restaurant for lunch that had a small, healthy buffet. There was no way I was going to try & figure out the calories. I did not overeat. The salad I make typically is red leaf lettuce, red bell pepper, chick peas, tomatoes, carrots, granny smith apple, artichoke hearts. Lately been adding a little pickle & red onion.

No. I'm still pretty new to this and it's been amazing to know I'm not overeating and has made me much more aware of what I'm putting in my mouth. I'd like to lose 60 more pounds. Maybe someday when I've trained myself to know how much to eat per day but right now this really keeps me in check.

Same here. After 3 weeks caloriev counting I went from a few times a day to every other day. I feel great!

Came looking for this topic. Been counting calories for 3 weeks. Used to go a few times a day, now I'd say every other day. I eat a good mix of things. Not constipated or anything. Feel great!

I lost about 55 before starting this & want to lose 60 more. Have already lost about 5 pounds in less than 3 weeks counting calories. And this is with no exercise. I'm recovering from knee replacement surgery. Just stick to your calories and move your butt. 😉

I had knee replacement almost 6 weeks ago. I've been losing weight due to counting calories. I do PT 3x a week. My knee still hurts, especially after PT but is doing well. It seems to be a long healing process!
