  • Yes I am very intrigued to know how a cheese stick is only 10 calories. I just ate 15 g of cheese as a little snack and its 62 calories. In addition same question for the parmesan crisp things, how do 25 of them only add up to 130 calories? Thats about 30g of parmesan, so how do you make 25 crisps out of them?
  • They are actually a nightmare. I am not even that keen on crisps as I dont really like crunchy or crispy food but if I am around them or someone brings them into the house I will eat them. And as for 'sharing bag', I dont understand that concept??!! Why dont you keep them in the car or the shed? (if you have either)
  • You must be tiny if that is your goal calories? In which case are you needing to lose anymore weight? If so, then 2 weeks stuck at one point isnt that unusual really. Try to carry on for another 2 weeks to see.
  • I have noticed this. My joints really hurt and it was difficult get out of the chair. I thought it might be my imagination.
  • I dont pretend to know exactly how it is for you but I can say with regard to exercise that I am less sedentary more sloth like. I just dont like moving around. I do on average about 30 minutes of exercise a week,, although over this weekend past I did 2 hours worth, but then I know I wont do any more until next weekend. I…
  • If you only gave birth 12 weeks ago, I would imagine that your hormones are still fluctuating, not to mention the stress of little sleep etc etc. Therefore it might be water retention etc.
  • Oh dear I remember that. What is this stone made up of?
  • I dont know, we really only have the criteria of atlantic farmed in the UK. Skin off and raw. But sockeye, coho, pink, chum, king, I have no idea what those words mean.
  • I just looked it up and 100g is 142 calories Oh, I just double checked, I had obviously done it wrong and put wild, in the UK we mostly eat farmed, its cheaper (and I actually prefer it) and that is 208 per 100g
  • A quick raita is yoghurt mixed with mint sauce. Yummy
  • Thanks, unfortunately I have forgotten my google password and it wont let me on the app site now, is there any other way of accessing this outside of google app store?
  • Ok, I might need a bit of help, I have joined weight grapher and after some faffing about I managed to find the bit (I think) where you get the graph up, but it just opens up an excel spread sheet with the weights on in a column. Is this right, how do I get a graph showing the trend?
  • Im not sure those amounts are right. 2 cupped hands of carbs in my book would be about 100g at least Im guessing. Maybe I should test it out before saying that! Plus I thought the meat or protein weights were very light too. I am just browsing places to go for breakfast and going through menus to see what offers me the…
  • Yes, Im dreading the time (if I ever get there - I need to hope that I will), that my goal is 1200 calories because I will literally be starving on that. I will try and eat passers by. Its so small. I am more than a few stone away from that at the moment so I'll have to try and manage it when it comes. As much as I like…
  • Lamb is quite fatty. Which is why its my favourite meat. Most people have a sweet tooth. I have a fat tooth.
  • God almighty, what was the food? I started a thread a while back which wasnt that interesting to others judging by the lack of replies about why so many 'basic' foods ( I think I was trying to search for raw salmon) are different according to different supermarkets. So I think Tesco was different to Sainsburys, was…
  • Ok, well I stand corrected, as I am so sad I put the recipe in the recipe thing on here and it came out about the same if you divide it into 12 servings and use lean mince. It would probably be less if you used minced turkey. However I still maintain that unless those 12 people are children it wouldnt be enough so I think…
  • Well I suppose even if you doubled the serving size, to 360g per serving size, you're still only looking at 280 calories which if you had it as a meal on its own, is ok and a big enough to fill you up. But you would have to do your own calculations I think in order to check theirs is correct.
  • Not being a scientist I can only talk from my own experience. I dont believe that 'carbs' have some magic quality about them which causes my body to store fat and use sugar for energy (Im not sure this is physically possible anyway) But I do know that carbs/sugar/starches for me personally causes me to crave eating lots of…
  • I dont think chicken breast is nice at all. I only like thighs. But then Im not overly keen on chicken anyway. However we do a chicken breast recipe which is to make a side split in it, stuff in some goats cheese and wrap in parma ham. However, you could wrap it in a savoy cabbage leaf (this is it keep it moist while…
  • 184g is a child's serving that wont fill up a hungry adult for their tea. Perhaps a small quick lunch. Also they say in the recipe either beef or turkey, surely they are different in calories? But it only has one calorie calculation at the bottom.
  • Ok, what about if you have quinoa with it and forget the cheese and sour cream?
  • Oh another one is people pronouncing onions as 'ongiongs'. Arrrggghhhh
  • I havent read the whole thread but my personal things are 'calling out' or being 'called out' instead of criticising/challenging/denouncing rest-bite instead of respite I am almost apoplectic if I hear or see people confuse the words wander and wonder. People who start their sentences with the word 'so'
  • Oh thats a bit similar to my emergency kitkat. Its in one of my handbags and sometimes I forget Ive got it and then just remember it, like now. I could eat it, its there, but I dont need to because its there waiting for me when I need it. Mind you, its only because its sort of chocolate and biscuit I havent got mental for…
  • Oh god this reminds me of a holiday we went on. We arrived at our holiday cottage after a long drive and we always go in and have a look about before getting everything in and most owners these days leave a little welcome tray of some cake or biscuits, tea bags, milk, bread whatever Anyway this particular person had left…
  • How do you know what the carton weighs? Are they metal or cardboard? Oh I suppose you take it off after! Just realised!
  • Thats an interesting point. I dont eat anything with sweetner in it (I dont have a particularly sweet tooth) because my perception is that I would taste the sweet but not get the calories and that I would then not feel satisfied. This is in my own head no doubt although I thought I read a reference to studies which also…
  • I havent got an 'app' and wouldnt know what to do with it if I did, so unless I am at home on the laptop, I write the food into my 'notes' on my phone, rather laborious admittedly, and then later in the evening put it in the website.
  • In any case, is 350 cals considered as 'high calorie'. Thats ok for a tea isnt it? Even with a bit of potato or rice.
