My partner bought home one of those 150g of crisps on Friday night. I didnt know until I came down to the kitchen on saturday morning. Half the bag was left and left on the side. I threw them in the bin. I cannot have crisps in the house, I dont even like them but I will sit there and eat them. I was a bit cross about it.

A couple of weeks ago I wasnt well due to migraine and I ate something along the lines of 500 cals for the day, I got 'told off' when I tried to complete my entries for the day, it told me I had eaten too little. How come OP is not getting this warning up when they complete their entries?

Well when it comes to it I will need a lot of research I think, we're in the UK so although obviously people do have cosmetic surgery I think we still have to have a referral from our own GP before we approach a company or whatever. I think its a minefield.

Just picking up on the IBS and joint pain, it might be that grains or wheat were simply the problem for you, rather than carbs per se. So when you cut out the grains/wheat whatever by default you help those issues? I dont eat a lot of wheaty products, I dont eat a lot of bread and when I do I find my joints hurt and my IBS…

Theres no way you've put on 2lbs after 3 days. I log everything but if I know I have gone over my allowance for a sustained length of time like a few days, a week while away, I just ignore the scale when I get back for a week or so. And then once Im back I just get back to the calorie allowance and carry on like nothing…

I feel differently to the advice given here by others. I would just get right back to what you were doing and weigh yourself next week or even the week after.

I did this once, put peanut butter on toast, grated cheese on that, then chilli flakes on that and put it under the grill. Cheese on toast on top of peanut butter, it was fantastic

Oh ok, so you changed your activity level from sedentary to the next one, to the next one and so on and so on? I suppose that means I have to start moving around more! I think I might do that once I get lighter. Things are still hard work at the moment. Knackered after just doing a bit of hoovering.

That seems an awful lot. I went from 266 to 265 on Wednesday and the calorie allowance didnt reduce Then today I lost another lb (despite saying I wasnt going to weigh myself for a couple of weeks!) and only then did it take 10lbs off. So around 5 cals per lb?

Hold on, Im trying to work this out now and feel I have misunderstood So it works out like this? 264lbs x 4.5 = 1188 1188 x 5.62 = BMR or is it 264lb x 4.5 = 1188 264 x 5.62 = 1483 1188+1483 = BMR That doesnt seem to equate with my stats on MFP (by the way Im asking this just out of interest in how it works)

Thanks yes I know the concept, I was looking for the ratio. Yes as time goes on I would change the rate of loss. It is currently set for 1lb per week as I want it slow and steady.
