Thank you so much for all the ideas! ♥️

Ohh, I didn't know that about the chicken thighs, and what you described sounds so good! I used to just get the boneless skinless thighs back before I started dieting, maybe I'll look into that again. Luckily, though, I love chicken breasts, and I know it's so very versatile, I just worry about burning out. Also, I'm not a…

Ohh, yes, zucchini! I need to use that more. That's something that I never knew I liked until recently, and I've wanted to attempt some zucchini lasagna! Thank you for reminding me!

Hello all! My name is Jessie and I'm looking forward to meeting new people in this group! I am 37, been happily married for 11 years, and a mom to 5 fur babies. (Dog named Loki, then four cats named Boo, Charlie, Fern and Rolo, aka Bean) I went to the doctor back in June of this year because of pain in my stomach, and was…

Thank you so much! I'm making a list of what all to ask my doctor whenever I can talk to her!

@dtaber38 , I'm glad things are working out for you! That's awesome! ♥️ That's kinda what my diet has consisted of lately, too, so that's good! Unfortunately, I think my liver is more than just fatty liver, I'm hoping to hear back tomorrow. But I think I've hit the cirrhosis stage along with some other issues, but, we will…

I'm going to ask about milk thistle, assuming I ever hear back from my doctor about my fibroscan test (which... If I saw the numbers correctly, was not good...) I actually had my gallbladder removed about 21 years ago, so, don't think it's that. But that was giving me a lot of pain, and to this day I can very vividly…

Whoo, that's awesome! ♥️ Congratulations!

Oof, that sounds horrible, I'm so sorry! I'm glad your vomiting and pain has gone away, though! That's good! Hopefully the liver supplement helps with your liver enzymes! Fingers crossed! I see tea mentioned so many times, I feel like I'm just going to have to force myself to learn to like tea!
-
Thank you so much for all the tea suggestions! I'm going to research them some more later when I get back from my fibroscan today! Hopefully I can find one I like, because I'm kinda tired of drinking just water. That's pretty much all I drink, with an occasional glass of milk, so, I could use some variety! I'm staying away…

On a whim, I decided to try on a bra that I couldn't really wear before because it was just too tight. The straps dug painfully into the top of my shoulders, even with them extended, and my, uh, girls kinda popped out over the top of my bra. So, it was shoved into a drawer with the hopes of "someday". Well, today is that…

@RunsWithBees , I just want to say thank you, and that you gave me a lot of hope for the day! I have been having a rough couple of days because of this stupid pain. It will go away for a few days, sometimes up to a week, then randomly come back. And every time it comes back I feel more and more disappointed, and then my…

I've already had my ultrasound done, I guess she wanted the fibroscan to stage it or something? Not too terribly sure, honestly. My nutritionist help me change some of my daily calorie intake and macros around today, so that's good! And she said as long as I stay under that 1% body weight loss a week, I will be fine. If I…

I had about three that I noticed all within a day of each other! First, for the first time in about five years, I am able to take my wedding ring off without either tearing apart/bruising my finger, or going through a whole bunch of soap/oil Second, I had to put my Fitbit band up another notch because it kept slipping down…

I actually just hit my first mini goal yesterday, so it's time to think up a new one! My goal was to fit into this shirt that I bought for charity, but they didn't have my size, so I had to buy it a size too small. After losing thirty pounds, I decided to try it on yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised at how well it…

My goal is to lose 225 pounds! I've lost 20.2 pounds so far, so, not quite a big dent. More like a tiny crack? But hey, that crack has to gradually get bigger, right? My other two goals kinda go hand in hand with the weight loss. Reverse my fatty liver and hopefully reverse my type ii diabetes! We can do this, OP!
-
Oof, I hope you are able to work out a way to get yourself the calories you need, as well! This dieting stuff is hard enough without limitations, yeesh! I changed my macros around this morning, and I'm going to try to set my daily meal plans first thing in the morning so I have time to tweak it throughout the day if I need…

Thank you! And thank you all for the very friendly responses and advice!

Yep! We bought a food scale last year when I first tried dieting, and I use it constantly. That, and measuring cups/spoons. I'm pretty obsessive with measuring. We went to my mother-in-law's for dinner the other night and I packed my scale so I could measure how much of each ingredient was in the grilled chicken salad that…

Thank you so much! I do have some seeds here that I bought and keep forgetting about. I'll have to remember to add that to my next salad! I do tend to have peanut butter as a snack, sometimes with an apple. Or I'll have hummus with carrots/bell peppers for some extra calories with the hummus.

I have been exercising as much as I'm able to. I have been trying to work out for about 30 minutes a day five days a week. I have access to a stationary bike, an elliptical and the internet at my house. I recently found a nice workout channel on YouTube called Body Project, and I've been doing some of their workouts from…
