Hand weights at home are my thing, lol. I use canned goods for light hand weights (I do high rep arm exercises while watching tv for 10-15 minutes). I bought a yoga mat to use for light floor exercises, stretches, and some core strength toning (again 10-15 minutes). I usually do some light cardio, mainly as a warm up…

Too late to edit and wanted to add: Don't get me wrong, I don't mind eating this way. For me personally, I find Keto not too difficult. A few do thrive on it. And I'm not trying to discourage anyone. I think the internet has way too much conflicting information and too many bloggers/vloggers with just plain bad advice. I…

Awesome progress!!! I am the exact same way...I actually have a very distorted self image in mirrors, but not with photos! Keep it up!! And I love seeing updates!! Look forward to your future updates!

I like the groups. Some groups are great for more in depth conversations, finding people with similar goals, and people to relate to. Good luck on here!

Baked chicken thigh: olive oil or butter, cardamom, cinnamon, allspice, curry, tumeric, bell peppers and mozzarella cheese. Season chicken both sides, throw everything in baking dish (except cheese), I bake bone in thighs about around 400 for 50-60 minutes, top with cheese last few minutes. House smells amazing with these…

I've been eating Keto for just over 2 months (due to a carb sensitivity). I have had successful weight drop and inches lost. I have yet to pay for anything expensive or marketed towards keto. No need to pay for expensive products to lose weight. Ketosis is simply cutting starchy carbs, sugars and foods known to cause…

Happens all the time. I force stop app a lot.

Tracking and logging calories, like anything else in life, become routine. The longer you do it, the easier it becomes! Features like saving meals and the food history log make logging on here simpler.

It is hard to get out there and do it. I have issues with exercising in front of people, so I've ever only used a gym if it's open overnight (and can't take a kid to a gym in US after like 10pm). I've lived in towns where if you're overweight and out walking or jogging, people driving by will say the most horrible things…

I do one of two things. I put in each ingredient and measurement, then hit save meal, it will let you name your meal, and it's saved. Or I write down ingredients with nutritional values, divide each ingredient's nutritional values by serving sizes, and then go under create food and input my numbers. Either way works...

I've been eating 16:8 for over two months. I've lost a lot of weight. I don't know if IF really had anything to do with it or not. I was eating around 1400 calories a day, recently trying to up to around 1600. I dropped most carbs (except fruits and veggies), and my morning appetite just vanished. So, I just went with it.

Meal planning: I like to cook up meat for dinner in olive oil with veggies and/or cheeses. Make extra meat and use for lunch the next day. I skip breakfast (just coffee). Like steak, peppers, onions, and cheese for dinner. Next day make a taco salad using left over steak, over greens, onions, black olives, tomatoes,…

Agree with Shelbydodgeguy!! That looks amazing!!

@scottyaus2732 Maintaining weight without losing more still keeping to low Carbs.

I always start at 3 days a week, then work up to 4. Some weeks I might workout an extra 5th day if I'm feeling good with zero muscle soreness. But I really try to listen to my body. I don't like to overwork my muscles (been laid up too many times from overdoing it--live and learn lessons, I learned my lesson). I try to…

When I've told doctors I don't want whatever prescription or shots they're pushing, they don't take it too well, and usually I ended up shopping for a new doctor. I wouldn't take anything for weightloss, especially if already succeeding on my own. Years ago I tried some prescription from an MD that supposedly helped burn…

That's my cycle... Got injured, gained weight, got depressed, gained more weight....lost weight, maintained years, got injured, gained weight, depressed, lost weight, maintained years. Got sick, gained weight, depressed, back on here tracking and losing. Vicious cycle... But when injuries lead to being bed ridden or…

That's Awesome Progress!!!! I've been kicked out of ketosis a couple of times now, and I can tell. When it happens, I feel bloated and blah! Energy level plummets... Wake the next morning feeling groggy and mild headache. My fiance and I are hoping to increase proteins soon and see how that goes, start transitioning into…

Why so low of calorie intake? I'm a 5'8" female 45 years old, and that's what I consume to lose. Have you talked to a doctor about your weight goals? You are within healthy weight range for your height and age. I would recommend if consuming that low of calories seeking medical advice and supervision. If dead set on eating…

Welcome, I'm not techy enough for that, but there is a group on here called Fitbit or Fitbit Users... Something like that. I'm sure someone in that group would be able to help, if no one replies here.

Tracking calories accurately? Eating too low of calories or eating too many calories? (oddly enough, both scenarios can stall weight loss). And would need more info to give honest feedback... Height, current weight, goal weight, honest and accurate activity level, and how many calories being consumed?

Yeah, a little higher than keto level carbs. We went strict, clean Keto pretty much from the beginning.... We originally were shooting for 50 net carbs, but after two days dropped to around 15 net carbs daily and stayed there. My fiance is young... Much younger than my (45yr old) self, but when I met him two and a half…

I love Tempeh. It's low carb, high protein.. Vegan meat substitute. I also eat a lot of eggs. Check out the group Low Carber Daily Forum, there's a thread called "what does your low carb meal look like?" It's 75 pages of low carb meals and recipes with a lot of pictures. Good luck!

@scottyaus2732 My fiance started keto with me... His hormones definitely changed...I would definitely say his testosterone has increased. And we both had a severe increase in energy. Increasing proteins would more than likely help you hit your goals! Good luck, keep us updated. I am upping my proteins, so I'm curious about…

Like this... Just realized this was already suggested. LOL ;)

You can always hit the quote button and add to your original post/comment. I've done this with my own post in group chats. Like when posting a recipe and forgot an ingredient or a step.

@EllyhBelly Lol, second comment wasn't mine... But I agree with TeaBea, 1200 is a little aggressive. I try to start at the most calories I can get away with eating and still lose weight. If I lose quick, I up my calories even more. I started at eating 1410, was losing very quickly. I upped my intake goal to eating 1680…

I get discouraged by scales, so I go on measurements and how my clothes are fitting. I have several inspirational outfits, I focus on trying to fit into smaller sizes, taking measurements every couple of weeks. Not for everyone, but I also take progress pictures every couple of days. I see more drastic changes in these…

I love all squashes!! I also cook other vegetables like this, like brussel sprouts (cut in halves), kale, cauliflower... Parmesan, garlic powder, salt and pepper... Good on just about any oven roasted veggie. I also drizzle a little olive oil to add a light caramelization on veggies.
