I don't ask someone to smile. But, if they do smile, I will compliment them for it. Depending on who it is, I might say something similar to "You have a great smile. It's a rare treat to see." But, that's not so much for randoms as it would be for someone closer to me.

If you can hold out until Monday morning that might help with getting new produce, depending on when they stock items. As to weekend shopping, it really varies. Last weekend, I went Saturday at about 7:00pm and it was packed. I forgot a few items and decided I'd go about an hour before they closed and it was almost empty.…

Not exactly true. There are multiple types of consent. Expressed consent is them actively giving consent Informed consent is given once the person has been informed and aware of all possible outcomes Implied consent is usually done in a situation where a reasonable person, in sound state of mind, would give consent.…

Why the hell are they doing the wheels and everything?! Ugh... I have to get out of the apartment this weekend. Haven't left since last Saturday when I went to the grocery store. I need to get some food for the next couple of weeks. Benefits of this is that it curbs my eating out. But, dammit, I want a frickin'…

Yeah, was a fun thread. I remember contributing a few pics to it. Great pics @TwitchyMacGee ! Thanks for doing them :)

I thought I was the only one who used it?! For myself, so far I can't say I've had to make much in the way of deviations. My grocery list is really simple, and if I deviate it's more because I want to. For example, instead of buying regular oatmeal, I bought Scottish oatmeal as a variety to it. Aside from a couple of…

Yep, I felt as though I was setup from the start. And I questioned her mental health as i was reading her second message and was concerned for others. I never heard back on it, so no idea if action was taken. But, it does show that one needs to be careful regardless of their sex.

In three words, how would you describe yourself? - Compassionate - Loyal - Honest In three words, how would your closest friend describe you? - Integrity - Personable - Humorous In three words, describe someone you like or admire, irl, famous, online, or imaginary - Integrity - Compassionate - Loving - Bonus: Role model

I get that, and I feel bad for the women who have to deal with it. But, it does not excuse her for her actions. She was the one who initiated the contact with me with a nice, decent message. My response to her was in kind. Nice, decent, respectful. Those who have interacted with me know that unless I'm very comfortable…

I did something similar with Match. At about six months, I just hid my profile. figured the lost $50 or whatever it was worth it for not having to deal with the aggravation and so forth. I really do wish you the best of luck. I know some people have had really good luck. Two friends of mine met their wives through online…

While others are completely untrusting of your time away (not being needy, just untrusting) from them.

I think women see much more of the craziness then we men do. Keep hearing horror stories about not just crazy. But, also those just looking for a hookup or poly. I know of at least one who said that someone they were kind of interested in had a restraining order &/or registered sex offender. When I was on, I really had…

I think if you go early in the day before the large droves of people are out you'll be fine. Take standard precautions, wipe down the cart handles, etc. Then, make sure you wash all fruits, veggies, etc before putting them away and again before consumption. Going in the early morning will also help ensure you get the…

Good luck! I'd enjoy getting out for a date. But, we all know that's not going to happen any time soon.

Washington state is at 66 Deaths as of yesterday. Italy is now over 3,400 deaths for a country with a population of 60 million. :(

I'm concerned as well about how far the shutdown orders will go. But, by the same token, because of how stupid and ignorant people can be something needs to be done. Not heavy handed such as Bay Area did. But, if a two week interruption can help reduce the spread of this thing, I think it's something we all should get…

It's about health of the population. In certain situations, Gov't has overriding authority. Be thankful you don't live in the Bay Area of California.

I was married for twenty so can understand to some degree. However, we don't talk, and have very little reason get in contact with one another in the future. Based off of what you stated, there's far more reason to stay together than to go separate ways. Especially if you still have such feelings towards him.

If that's the case, then part of my wonders why even divorce in the first place?

Her view was similar to my grandma's after grandpa was killed in WW2. She never dated, never had a desire to do so at all. She raised my dad pretty much on her own, with no family support or help. What I've learned though, and to each our own, if we constantly compare an ex to others we will never be satisfied because no…

While I'm sure there are instances where that may be the case. From what I have read from different sources, they pretty much follow what I mentioned. But, like anything, there's countless ways to skin a cat. Or, in this case, not want to deal with them. ;)

They are pretty much one and the same, with the same underlying reasons. Incel = Involuntary Celibacy MGTOW = Voluntary Celibacy However, the reasons for them doing this is because they both feel slighted and used by women. The only difference is that MGTOW claims they decided to become celibate. If one takes the time to…

I need to get mine cut as well. But, didn't realize the ban included barbers/salons as well. Might just be the push to go back to shaving my head...

Some have symptoms of diarrhea: What are the symptoms of COVID-19? The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are fever, tiredness, and dry cough. Some patients may have aches and pains, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat or diarrhea. These symptoms are usually mild and begin gradually. Some people become infected but…

That's nothing. Sheryl Crow predicted the run on TP back in '07.

Currently in the US there's over 500 cases, with a death toll of 22. About 4.4% mortality rate. That number will probably skyrocket over the next couple of weeks to a month. Here in WA state: 136 cases with 18 death is about 13.2% mortality rate.
