  • My first pass day, kind of planned...I stuck to my usual routine and eating habits all day but we got take out from a new place tonight - delicious but difficult to track and a bit fatty. Feeling very full but enjoyed it and looking forward to a lighter dinner tomorrow night!
  • NSV - my ability to walk! Pre knee injury, my Apple Watch would prompt me whenever I was out walking to record it as a workout. That has not happened for a long time (4 months) as I’ve not been able to get up enough pace to make my walks a workout - until this week! Keeps happening when I go for a walk and it’s a great…
  • Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes - 20 minutes on exercise bike, 30 mins walking Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? • @SModa61 Atomic Habits is actually the reason I joined UAC, it’s a fantastic read ( actually I listened to it on audible, good food for thought while out walking!).
  • My recent insight is that it is going to take longer than just a few weeks to lose the weight that I want to - but also that I’m happy with that. Like @Chinkiri i too fell out of this challenge in September when a knee injury turned life upside down but up until that point I had been really enjoying it. Sharing that I’ve…
  • Exercise: yes - 20 mins on exercise bike, nice long walk with my daughter in the afternoon. Tracking: yes Calories: yes A good day, it felt easy today 😀. I’m glad to still be here.
  • Yes- I’ve been having quite a bit of trouble recently. If I log more than one thing at a time, the tracker only seems to keep the last thing I logged instead of all of it!
  • Three yeses for me and a very tiring day. I went into London to see my chiropractor. The appointment has wiped me out and I’ll be first to bed in my house tonight. I’m usually the last in bed in my house, but in my pyjamas by 8 tonight 😴. Night all xx
  • I’m not the best sleeper but I don’t think the pandemic has made it any worse - I have been careful to ensure I go outdoors every day, exercise etc. But I’m not great at keeping off screens in the evening! Exercised: Yes - two 40 min walks and 25 mins on exercise bike Calories: Yes Tracked: Yes
  • 3 yeses for me - I did post last night but it seems not to have loaded. I did way more exercise than I’ve been able to do in a long time 💪💪 30 mins on exercise bike, 30 mins Pilates and a 40:minute walk with a friend (the only social contact we are allowed in the UK at the moment). Weekends are my chance to stop feeling…
  • Three yeses for me today! Literally on the button with calories, 20 mins on the exercise bike, I’m thinking about going crazy and doing 30 minutes tomorrow!
  • So glad it is Friday tomorrow! Week one of being back working and homeschooling is doing my head in a bit. And now that it’s winter, I have to try and find time during working hours to take the kids out to get us all some exercise. Sunset today was 16:11 so going out after work is a bit bleak! But on a positive note, I’m…
  • Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes - 20 mins on the exercise bike Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? yes , just! Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? yes Really needed a lift tonight so made a hot choc and took myself to my calorie limit. Shocked to see the scenes from Washington, thinking…
  • Back to work today. Well, working from home, locked down as we are! Homeschooling went better today thanks for asking @donna25trinity, my son hates English and the school are having a poetry week, he’s not keen! But he didn’t have to do too much work today. Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, my usual 20 minutes…
  • Today was the last day of the Christmas holidays for me...and one child went back homeschooling from today. Not reeeeally looking forward to work tomorrow, I’ve done nothing for two weeks and now I’ll be working and homeschooling...sigh. But...today I have three yeses, my exercise was 20 minutes on the exercise bike ride…
  • Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, a gentle 20 minute session on the exercise bike and my first longish walk (well, 2km but that is long for me at the moment!) without any crutches, whoop! Haven’t been able to do that since September 4th. Downhill is still tricky but I’m getting there. Did I stay within my…
  • Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, 20 mins on the exercise bike Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes. Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes. Glad to back on board this challenge and it hasn’t been as hard as I’d thought after all the Christmas indulgence.
  • Happy new year all and congrats to those in the winners circle....amazing to do that in December! Starting strong with three yeses today- exercise was 20 minutes on my stationary bike (which is rehab for my knee which is recovering from surgery last month) and a gentle walk for 20 minutes. I love to exercise, and putting…
  • Hello! I'm a returning member. I took part for a few months in the summer and loved it -but disaster struck in terms of a knee injury at the beginning of September and I have been on crutches ever since. I found it too hard to manage this challenge while being stranded on the sofa, especially with all the restrictions with…
  • Pass day for me. The knee has been really bothering me so no exercise and then two well meaning friends separately called over with cake to cheer me up. Aside from that I ate well...but two cakes...not great. Here comes the weekend, I’ve seen the physio and got some new exercises for my knee and he has suggested I do…
  • Wow @Dory_42 what a perfect sounding day and a beautiful bay. Only two yeses from me today but still feeling all sorts of proud of myself for getting back into this..I only managed 10 minutes on my static bike today but my legs feel like lead so I think resting them is my only option, they got too tired last night and my…
  • Three yeses for me. Didn’t post last night as I’m out of the habit at the moment. Exercise was 20 minutes of gentle cycling on my static bike.
  • Hello all I’m back! First day since I injured my knee that I’ve managed to pull myself together enough to meet all my goals for this challenge. Very much out of the winners circle as I think it has been almost three weeks since I last posted but...onwards and upwards, I’m on crutches and the knee specialist says I probably…
  • HI all, I've not posted on this board before and it's been a while (17 days!) since I posted on the main board. I hurt my knee quite badly and been feeling very sorry for myself as I've been stranded on the sofa not able to walk properly or drive. But...I have to turn my outlook around now. I've had a couple of physio…
  • A bit of a disaster for me today. I managed all my goals but.....decided to do a quick HIIT workout before dinner to compensate for sitting a lot while working today. There was a terrible noise and awful pain and my knee gave way. And gave way four times more in the evening. I’m so upset as I’m such an active person. I’ve…
  • Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes 30 mins yoga and.....walking my son to school for the first time in six months. It’s a 50 minute round trip, a great chance to chat with him about life and then listen to my audio book on the way home. Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes (just about!).…
  • Congrats to all in the winners circle for August. I found it a tough month but am very happy to be back here now, I always think September is a great month for a fresh start. Three yeses from me today. 30 mins of yoga and a couple of long dog walks for exercise.
  • I’m in! I loved the June and July UAC, it made such a difference to my life. August I was away on holiday and I’ve felt my good habits sliding away from me...so September is time to get them back again. Thanks for organising @RangerRickL
  • A pass day for me but not by very much, just went slightly over Kate with my afternoon snacks. But I did teach and did lots of exercise today with 30 minutes of Pilates this morning and about one hour forty five minutes of dog walking. I will have to think on your post @RangerRickL I think I want different things at…
  • I’m back after two weeks of holiday, had a wonderful time (though sometimes stressful due to our plans continually changing with COVID related events!). And it’s lovely to be back in the UAC swing of things today, I’ve missed it though did enjoy the bread / cheese / wine in France! Maybe a little too much.... Did I…
