76km of hills today. Racing (or at least time trialling) starts again for me on Thursday with the "hilly 14" so I rode out there, rode the course then did some bonus hills on the way home. I was faster today than I've ever done it in a race in previous years thanks to weight loss/better training this year.

I'm 5'8.5. My highest weight was 260lb/118kg. In 2004-5 I lost weight down to about 150lb/68kg. It didn't feel that sustainable so I went up to about 160lb/72.5lb for a while, then a fairly long period closer to 80kg/176lb. Last autumn it crept up again to 86kg/190lb. I set myself the target of getting back to 80kg. When I…

50km after work. Definitely not too hot here - I was glad of my knee and arm warmers and gilet!

120km of hills in the Yorkshire Dales today. Wet and windy again, I miss the good weather we had a week or so ago!
-
I had today off work so got out for a few hours. Wet and windy again, but got 78km done.
-
I bought a size 10 (UK) dress online. It arrived and it fits :)
-
50km before work for me today, including a climb that I’ve apparently only done once before and avoided ever since (it was nowhere near as bad as I remembered).
-
625 miles for me in June, about 30% on Zwift and 70% outside.
-
Windy and wet here. Ended up doing 138km anyway (partly due to a wrong turn that took me further away from home than intended) but it was a proper struggle towards the end into the headwind.
-
86km today - flatter and faster than most of the rides I've been doing recently.
-
I was out on the bike at 6am today for 2 hours before work. Absolutely gorgeous morning, the first hour had very few cars but lots of cyclists and runners getting out before the heat of the day arrived. About 55km done.
-
121km of hills today including a couple of properly big hills and a few more bonus climbs. Legs absolutely shredded! I've got a couple of rest days on the plan for tomorrow and Monday thankfully!
-
I got outside for the first time in 12 days today (I did a testing block on Zwift then some recovery). 40km spin before work avoiding kamikaze bunnies. Good to be back!

Yes from me. If you want to wear running kit (or non cycling clothes) you could also consider velovixen padded pants underneath. But you could probably find actual cycling shorts for a similar price! https://www.velovixen.com/collections/underwear/products/velovixen-padded-cycling-knickers-dandelioness On weight loss, I've…

I do both. I do daily weigh ins on a trending app but I take my Monday weight each week and put it on Garmin connect which then syncs to another couple of places. Sometimes if I know it's really bad bloating I take my Tuesday weight instead ;) but for the most part I know it's just a snapshot and the trend is more…

I have had a weekend of sorting through my wardrobe to throw away all the things that don't fit (or at least to put them in a charity bag for when things reopen) and work out where the gaps are to buy stuff in smaller sizes. Some of my more optimistic past purchases are now wearable and a lot of the things I saved for now…

Measuring with a power meter I tend to be around the 500 calories per hour mark for z2/3 endurance rides outside so I’m in a similar ballpark.
-
Not mileage numbers this time... I did my FTP test this morning. Up from 224 to 232, but combined with weight loss that took me from 2.7 w/kg to 3.4. Really pleased with that!

There's over 15 years between these photos. SW - 260lb (2004) CW - 154ish. I have broadly maintained in between the two, initially around 160 then drifting back up to the 175-180 range, but have dropped a bit more weight over the last six months or so.
-
Yes. My calories are accurately measured (with a power meter while I'm cycling) so there's no reason not to. The slight caveat is that I'm still drifting my weight down to find a final goal weight, and at the moment my goal is set at maintenance but I still create a small deliberate deficit by not eating all my exercise…

I have lost. No eating out and the ability to plan all my meals and stick to it, and to stick to my training plan. Not commuting means that I’m a bit less active on the everyday stuff but the up sides have more than balanced it out.

128km today. The first few hours were wet and I never quite warmed up again despite my first bacon sandwich stop for months on a ride. A school friend has a cafe about the right distance away for today's planned 5 hours, and it was her first Sunday of doing takeaway so I rode up there and had a bit of a chat as I waited…

80km for me today, a bit windy so I just rode up the valley and back rather than climbing up onto the tops.
-
The worrying thing is that an FTP test actually sounds far more appealing than the session he set me this week - an hour on the turbo at threshold. At least the FTP test is only 20 minutes not 60!
-
About 50km for me today including a diversion up a hill I'd never tried before - steeper than 10% and a bit of a shock to the legs! I've got some long rides on the schedule for the weekend, then my coach has set me a week of tests (FTP and vo2 max) so I'll be mainly on the turbo for a while.
-
I'm not sure how sustainable it is in conjunction with real life, but at the moment all I seem to do is eat, sleep, cycle and work from home so there's plenty of time to get some miles in! I also won a years cycle coaching back in November so my routine has been a bit more bike heavy than it used to be.

138km/86 miles today. a nice day out on the bikes for my birthday, sunny and we headed to some of the less busy spots on the edge of the Yorkshire Moors. Total for the month is 933 miles - 685 of them outside and the rest on Zwift. I think that's my biggest cycling month ever, largely due to not having much to do other…
-
80km in the sunshine for me today. I'm riding again tomorrow so will update my monthly total after that
-
90 minutes on Zwift for me this morning. Tomorrow I’m planning 2 hours outside, hopefully the weather will be good again!
-
125km for me today - out into the Yorkshire Dales for the first time in a while. Usually when I do that loop I drive out and start a bit closer but today I rode from home (and back). Takes me to 1168.4km for the month so far - that's a mix of outside (about 70%) and zwift (about 30%). Not having much else to do at weekends…
