Hi @jenready Sure! They do use your muscles and I was surprised at how much they can make my arms tired. I want to use them in the rainy weather and keep working to tone up.

The air quality is "very unhealthy" here so I haven't been outside walking. I did a 25 min. workout with resistance bands at home today instead.

So a lot of people are dealing with smoke and fires in their area. I wasn't aware of the numbers of fires around the country I guess - just used to fires reported in Calif but as I scan the messages here I see there's smoke in a lot of placed. Stay Safe Everyone!

Barbie thanks for sharing! I'm in Bellevue and we don't have smoke here that I can tell. It's that dry time of year where in California where I used to live it was common to have fires burning in southern California so we'd hear about them often.

Checking in here.... it's good to check in! I'm logging my food every day. This keeps me aware of the food I eat! Also logging daily exercise which is just as important to me :) Hope everyone is having a great day! It's the long weekend! Yay!

I'm transitioning back to working the day shift and have been awake all night. Unfortunately I ate a bunch of crackers because I was awake. My goal for Sept is to lose 3 pounds. I find walking is an easy way to get outdoors for exercise so will do that regularly. I track my food daily so that is progress this past month…

Have you tried intermittent fasting of some sort? you can challenge your body by switching up how you do IF. That might help.
