  • I'm in that challange with you! It really does help me keep focused too so I'll be joining this one as well😄
  • So I missed last week but-- April 26 ~174 lbs😊
  • 😓I missed last weigh in. Not going to do mid week I'll get next week's slot.
  • The grocery stores here have those shields too. The convenience store I work at has one too -- it's literally hanging from the ceiling by lengths of chain. Its also too short to cover some of the till area. Aside from that I still get the really stupid people that lean around it because they think I can't hear them through…
  • In my Region we have 189 confirmed 66 resolved 10 deaths. In my actual City I don't know. I've avoided looking too closely because I was winding myself up and now when I try to look it up I keep getting the region stats because my city name is the region name.

  • March 29 ~180lbs😒😢 *sigh* well I'm definitely not getting out walking as much these last weeks compared to usual...
  • Start weight 185lbs March 01 ~184lbs 08 ~182lbs Week 2 just flew by, hope I can keep this up March 15 ~180lbs March 22 ~180lbs eh well with the amount of chocolate I've eaten this past week I'll take holding even as a win (Ugh stress eating😝)
  • Well an interesting morning at work. The guy who closed last night (convenience store one cashier) *kitten* up the door and security gate so I couldn't get the door open this morning. Had to call the manager who had to deal with head office and the alarm company. Long story short I got to go home for like half an hour and…
  • Funny you should mention it I think someone just shoplifted a box of cereal from the store where I work😂
  • It's still too cold here to plant outside. Lots of seeds take ages so I'm starting them inside and just sticking them by a window. (I actually repurposed some empty pop and juice bottles with the tops cut off. They look ridiculous.)
  • Posted earlier that I'm having trouble with stress eating but I suppose being on a lower calorie diet also means I won't be going through food as quickly as I used to. The extra is bringing me up to a 'maintain weight' calorie amount some days but at least that's not on top of the amount I used to eat.
  • I'm a cashier so it kinda sucks right now with people's buying habits. Aside from the work implications... I stress eat. After hitting my calorie goal I still found myself eating an entire chocolate bar this evening and craving something else to munch on. I decided to eat half a container of mints to keep me occupied but…
  • OP here, thanks for sharing how things are going in medical centers and thank you for doing your best to put up with all us cranky panicky people❤ I just want people to be aware of and to consider both sides of each interaction. Maybe knowing how you guys are dealing will help people be a bit more patient when demanding…
  • OP here and thank you for continueing to show up at the ER. I know people with your kinds of jobs get a lot of exposure to this situation but we all still need hospitals to run and we have to count on staff like yourself showing up to places we'd all rather avoid ourselves. Please stay as safe as you can❤
  • Thank you everyone for the well wishes! We're doing ok here for now, as far as confirmed cases there was only one in my immediate geographic area as of Saturday. (I havent checked these past couple days for stats) So maybe it seems like over cautious actions but better too much action than too little. I'm young (almost…
  • Hi Reenie! This is actually a very interesting point. I have a sink readily available at work so washing my hands frequently is something I can do. I do also have gloves available but I don't wear them much(we have plastic money bills here and the gloves I have make it very difficult to separate them quickly). Consider…
  • Week 2 just flew by, hope I can keep this up March 15 ~180lbs
  • One week down. Start weight 185lbs March 01 ~184lbs 08 ~182lbs
  • So do we just post new each week with updated weights list or do we edit our first posts somehow and it's bumped to the last page? Never done one of these before so I'm not really sure how the threads work. At work atm so gonna try to remember to weigh when I get home.
  • If anyone remembers my first post I'm using Pacer app to track my steps and total distance so walking mostly for me and short runs (It's jogging because I can't run worth peanuts yet) Brisk walk in to work today and on my feet for work (cashier) so got a good 10k to start me off this month. Aiming for 200km min total. (And…
  • I'm in for this. I just have to remember to come back here to post occasionally🤣 I've been using Pacer app for total km walk/run for the month (It's counts your steps whenever your phone is in your pocket so housework etc included if you carry your phone😅). You can join challenges for total distance monthly and get little…
  • I'm interested. Just have to remember this is here somehow. Here's my overshare I guess. I'm using an old scale not a digital so I don't know how well weekly weighing is gonna work with slow weight loss. (I'm pretty much guessing my weight - it's maybe 184-187 so I'll say an optomistic 185lbs for my starting weight in a…
  • I've been debating on and off the last few years about going to a recruitment center for the Canadian Armed Forces, joining army specifically. I looked up a lot of the exercise test requirements online going "I can do that with some work" -- except I'm significantly heavier than what they recommend for accepted weight for…
  • Um, hi? Definitely new to MFP. I was trying to track calories roughly using my phones calculator😂 this is so much better. This is my first week so I'll see how it goes. So far in under my calorie target these past three days so yay! I'm aiming for weight loss and getting fit at the same time. Wish me luck😄😄😄
