Got up this morning begrudgingly at 2:30am to get my run in before work, to my surprise once I started running I felt great and pushed close to my threshold pace. So glad I got up now haha

@juanwilly1 I also used to run in Brooks Beast and swapped to Hoka Gaviottas, as you say, the difference in cushioning is huge and although I used to love the Brooks, I'll never go back after using the Hoka's.

@slimgirljo15 you're in Oz right? Yet I have never seen a mulberry pie, yet as a kid I used to eat them, throw them and generally stain all my clothing with them!! I love them.

Ran 8kms yesterday, I had to breakthrough the 7km barrier as I had set that as some sort of psychological hurdle not to pass, but now I hope I just can continue to add distance in small increments.

Last early run for a while as I fly home from work tomorrow and can get up at normal times! Started my run at 2:45am this morning, was already quite warm at 31deg (88F) but it warms you up quick haha

Another 2:45am wakeup to do my planned 5km before I head to work, I kinda like that time of morning now, so still and quiet and not the brutal heat like during the day.

So 12 weeks ago I had my periodical work medical, I knew I was fat, unfit and had to make changes, so I started walking/jogging. I can only dream about running that distance at the moment, my longest run has been 7km but I'm building slowly, so I say you've done pretty damn good!

I work away from home two weeks at a time and don't have access to a scale at work, when I left home I weighed 122kgs, I want to be under 120kgs when I weigh tomorrow morning!
