Wasn't me. I find it can be a scrolling error, just resting in the wrong spot. Sure it was in error. 🤔

@shanaber oof, sorry about the tummy troubles. Could it be gallbladder? That darn thing tends to betray a lot of women. Does your DD have any suggestions? OTC Imodium may be helpful in the short term. School. the psych material is so much more evenly paced. I actually got in some violin practice and went outside twice to…

@kristinegift ! that girl was in grad school and had a sponsor running. I loved her, she was so inspirational and supportive, seems all of the old gang was, er is- those of you that are still here and I am glad you are. I did make it out for some exercise yesterday. I picked up brush, raked and trekked to the ravine and…

@shanaber oh I forgot about @Runningmischka ! She was so cute running pregnant. Bet that adorable baby became center of her world. @codemonkey78 had a mysterious condition last I/we heard from him. His heart would stop and I think so many were uncomfortable supporting him running until he got more info from the doc, I…

Yes, a name change. I felt the need to shuck everything old and begin anew. This is Alex’s account, er was I guess. Good seeing ya Pat! What about @Orphia … hmm who else can I think of? @fabine… @shanaber is OG too! And @skippygirlsmom gah I can’t believe stan won’t even pop in for a “howdy”, he’s started quite a…

@WhatMeRunning Oh man, sorry to hear about the PF. You think it's weight, shoes, too much too soon AKA embracing to much suck (haha), muscle imbalances? Luckily, I've not had it, but did have the pleasure of shin splints. Have you tried a podiatrist? I sent you a FR. I need some help/support getting back on an acceptable…

Thanks for setting us up @WhatMeRunning ! I am setting a goal this month. My last goal was February 2019 so I may be new to many of you. HI! I am going for a walk 20 minutes a day, ~ 0.5 mile. I'd like to be able to try to play a little tennis come fall and perhaps work up to what resembles a run. I tracked food for the…

@rheddmobile I could do counseling, get an LPC. Dh makes near 100k with it. But is looking to go out on his own and eliminate the corporate involvement. I’m not sure what I’d do with it, honestly I think I am just finding purpose in staying busy, maybe a PhD and teach lol!

Hi all! I'm doing okay @shanaber. I hit a bit of a snag with nursing school on Friday. I was kinda peeved about it, but now am over it *. I had an instructor suggest to me that I should look into accommodations this semester with the pain and stiffness and such. So I did. All seemed to be fine the first week in, until they…

Hi all! I'm still here reading along. Just haven't had anything interesting or pertinent to post. Cori is back to 100% so much so I keep forgetting to give his morning antibiotics, then he runs off outside (shed) for the day. I have seen 3 coyotes in 2 weeks. Twice it ran down the tree line between us and the south…

@Avidkeo yay!!!!! about time! I am achey. I dun wanna drive to Dallas today. I was thinking about canceling. Then my stitchfix box showed up. I crossed my fingers that it was at the very least, acceptable. The fat pants are comfortable, an 8 and I have been squeezing into 6's. I have 4 new shirts. I like all of them. The…

Hmm, I don't know if I've had another surgery since the last one updated here, perhaps. The rod (femoral de-rotation) was redone because my femur rotated back to twisted... but before that I had the labrum repaired, femoral head and acetabulum reshaped (FAI). So maybe. I've had 5 so it kinda runs <-- 😀 together. Last…

Lol! @shanaber I’m glad you said it aloud! People really need to be called out and it social politeness should be disregarded when needed. No word yet on cori’s blood smear results. The receptionist phoned at 11am asking how he was doing today. He ate a bit, drank some tuna water, and peed twice. No bm in 2-3 days though.…

I love the olympics. I’m not watching them though. We don’t have cable service and haven’t checked over the air channels. Usually I’m on Netflix/Hulu on the iPad. But, I wanna be a volley ball player. I caught a few minutes in the psychologist waiting room last week. Love the stress and motivation answers. I have zero…

Cori update. *sigh* high probability that it is something fatal, FIP or cytauxzoonosis. Blood smear results tomorrow which will show if he has zoonosis. Hoping for a UTI or something benign. cross your fingers for Cori.

Monthly question… 1) How do you find motivation and discipline? What is your reward? 2) How do you manage stress? How does your body react to stress? (My psychologist wants to know, LOL! I need a good answer for next appt. 🤣)

I signed up for Stitch Fix. Anyone have any experience with this kind of service? I figure if they just send me fat pant, I'll wear them LOL!. I hate shopping and we have Pennys, Walmart, ross, and tj maxx (terrible selections). I'm kinda excited about it.

@shanaber I am sure the cat home will take the cat being a beneficiary. Who is so cold to take the money and not the cat? I would think if they don't, that you wouldn't have a problem finding someone to take it. It's the ideal cat for someone that isn't keen on messing with the kitten stage. You can send her here if all…

Took Cori to the emergency vet… No idea what’s wrong with him. He had a fever of 104.8F (40.4C if I remember my math). Normal is 100.5-102.5F. Labs are okay. Nothing the vet could use to pinpoint his issue. He got antibiotic, NSAID, and steroid with a 200mL bolus of electrolytes/fluid subq. He ate and drank. I found him…

@rheddmobile Thanks for the info on the DNA. I suppose I'll abandoned the notion. Although it is possible if the teeth thing would work out. As a runner student ages ago, I'd run cantaloupes DNA through PCR to "grow" it, so there'd be a larger sample. And yes, you are right about the forensic purposes. I forgot that they…

@RunsOnEspresso buy some fat pants but not more than 2 pair and something that you won't wear out or get too comfortable wearing daily, something for home perhaps. Or add a belt so you can keep an eye on the notches. I'd hang in there and ride our the fluctuation. It very well could be temporary (inflammation, hormones,…

@quilteryoyo I want to get a DNA profile to see the shared ethnicities for Alex. It’s probably not possible, but I keep hoping something viable will appear. @RunsOnEspresso chalk it up to normal fluctuations and dig in girl, you got this! @Avidkeo jeez, that is just a pain in the rump. I’ll see if I can get any answers.

My obsession today is finding some of Alex's DNA. His phone had blood in the case which I cleaned a year ago. I have baby teeth somewhere, but they are not sorted by kiddo. I think I watch too many forensic shows. But at least it keeps me occupied. School is closing in, tons of messages and dates, the classmate texting…

Happy birthday @quilteryoyo I think I am a day late... Looks like you had an indulgent dinner! Many blessings to you! @Avidkeo Any word on that stubborn shipment? I miss the days where things like that were easy and not a threat to security or whatever is holding it up. Can't they just make a "trusted" list of people and…

Made it to my crazy appointment today (counseling). I think I talk too much, nervously. Next week I am going to be quiet and try to see if I can get more insite and advice. She thought it was "interesting" that I was triggered at a service to honor vets of WWII more so than a funeral. IDK... funerals have people and its…

@quilteryoyo Dd is mine from a previous marriage, Dh and I've been married 11 years. She was invited and planned to come but decided last minute that she was too tired and slept all day. I was fine with that. Seems a funeral would be hard right now. I don't think dd ever met Eric's gma. Alex did a few times and she loved…
-
@CMorning99 Thanks for the tip on the mini horses. DH wants cattle; I can't help but wonder if 2-3 little ones would make him happy LOL!. We are only on 2.5 acres.

Wow! what in the world are you @shanaber and @Avidkeo doing to have such great HDL numbers? Even when I was running, biking and eating right mine was never above 39... Low. I haven't had it checked but started taking omega 3 regularly; hoping it would improve. The funeral yesterday was "enjoyable". I really love DH's aunt.…

Hi all (Elise here). Where is August's thread? I know @shanaber had been busy and @avidkeo too, so feel free to take the initiative if it's not been posted, remember we have a few that are a day ahead of the US. Perhaps I'll think up a monthly question... I came across a suicide awareness virtual run on FB and wanted to…

Hey welcome back @Bearly63! Congratulations on getting the kids settled in. We are told that classes are in person and all is back to "normal" as long as you have your vaccination. *fingers crossed. Hope your DD has a the best cadaver ever, I am envious. My DD finished this summer semester and is enrolled for fall... *more…
