I hate when that happens! You subbed quite well. I am thankful I've not run across such teachings. There's a lot of trash and misleading involved for sure. The worst I ran across personally was when I lived in Dallas…at Word of Faith, led by Robert Tilton. He believed speaking in tongues could be "taught"….that's where I…

That reminds me of two times in my life when God spoke to my spirit so clearly it was if I "heard" Him! I laughed out loud, knowing it was Him and He saw and heard ME! When I lived in Irving, I had gone to the grocery store with intentions of buying no sweet stuff. I asked Him to go with me and help me not get any. I came…

Thank you! It sounds delicious! I printed it out this time. The recipe I found was similar but called for cannellini beans, cream of chicken soup and Velveeta cheese. I've been wanting a good fish sandwich….can't find the frozen, don't do McDonald's and the filets I used last weren't quite right. We don't get Mrs. Paul's…

Cars: When my Mom passed in 2013…leaving me hers, I gave it to my brother and paid for the transfer so he could insure it and drive it legally. Mine lasted 4 more years, before I had to get a "new" one and at the time, having foot troubles and being unable to hike about, looking….did an online application, chose my price…

Good morning ladies…. I hope the nausea passes quickly Kim. Prayers for peaceful rest and those times of respite from the pain. Wow! That's one thing off the list, Marilyn. Sounds lovely! I remember when I got my car. She was only 2 years old and is now 10. It felt so tiny and way too many controls…took awhile to get used…

Cool beans! Oh that's a good report! Yes! God is totally awesome. Mine eases with laying down. Especially now that the dip in my mattress is displaced after several years of sleeping in a ditch! When my legs go numb and my back is screaming, sitting helps too. I often have to stop midway in putting groceries away. Feet up:…

My Part D is with WellCare. I stayed with them to avoid the hassle of looking for and changing to another insurance. I've had Medicare for 7 years now. This was the fist year to get a break on my premium and when they cut insulin cost was a huge blessing! I once paid over $700 out of pocket for my two insulins. It's now…

Meds: My insurance will no longer cover my Fiasp. This is the third time to change my fast acting insulin, but they did give me one more 90 day supply in January. That was a surprise. I got a letter following, to let me know it was "complimentary" and my last and to be sure and have my Dr. prescribe something new. He is…

Oh my! I'm glad you are getting some answers and praying relief will come. Oh, I'd be screaming and crying a week in advance. I am so sorry you are dealing with so much pain, my friend. I'd be willing to go to the hospital for a few days of tests for mine, if no needles were involved and they'd do the testing while I…

THIS….is how I got my delivery this morning. He left part of it, blocking the door, made it harder to get to and load in my cart. I posted on my FB group and have 257 responses already! can we say "active"? LOL…I contacted customer service to make them aware of the problem and the pain and hardship it caused me…a great…

A lady on a FB group I'm in, did fall in hers! I leveled out the 5-6 inches of ice in the bottom so my tubs sit flat! I was so happy to get this task done! My granny was really short too, at less than my 5.1. I am content to stay on the outside of this thing! My friend Cissy, who was about 3 inches shorter than me, was…

Thanks Kim! I'm at 245 this morning so down 5 in 2 days. My pain is relieved by laying down, which makes for good rest but not productivity. Continued prayers…and comfort of God….in the days ahead, for us all.

I was inspired to play in my freezer this morning…hasn't been done in about a year? Scraped down the ice, pulled some out, sorted my goods and made a note to use what I have until I can do a real clean out and defrost. That's never been done and I've had it since 2011…I am so short that I may have to hire the final…

…and prayers for you Marilyn! I looked back on the weight thread and saw where we've been and where we are. God has us all in His care. I have my cardiologist update the 31st so have 17 days to shake things up in my spot. I thought I had a Endo appt. scheduled but it's not showing up so will tend to that for perhaps April…

Thanks Kim, for your input. My pain has been worse, meaning activity has been even lower, inflammation has been higher than before. I was retaining fluid for sure. I have a lot of lovely veggies and some fruit on hand, (canned, NSA, tangerines and apples) fish, chicken and the like….just not the will/energy to cook much,…

I am in need of an intervention: I hit 250 today. I am so sad, mad at myself, in great pain and really struggling. BUT….this is not the end nor am I giving up. I'm dusting off, picking up and moving on. By the grace of God, in His strength and to His glory….This is a new day, a new start and I have hope for recovery and…

I cheat and use the canned brown gravy with onions…It's yummy and saucy and I like it with my meatballs too! The mac and cheese was very good. I added more broccoli to my leftovers and a few more meatballs. You know I like quick and easy and I do it all in one pot. That Carolina Grill sounds very nice! I had some catfish…

That picture reminds me of the house I'd pass 5 days a week, on my way to work and the beautiful daffodils and tulips in bloom. I thought of getting the address so I could send a note to the owners, thanking them for the years of joy their lawn brought me on those mornings. I definitely thanked God for the beauty, year…

Good morning all…. Missy, I am so sorry to hear of this very bad fall, the dizziness and other issues causing pain, distress and sorrow. We each have our set of trials and hardships but we have a superior, loving, comforting and healing God. He is the same always and loves us beyond comprehension. You all remain in my…

Well that's a bit confusing! Not positive "enough"? Hope you learn more soon that is more enlightening. So sorry that you missed your outing. I don't think my heart thing is AFIB….it's occurrences of angina that lasts about 20 minutes. It's been several weeks since I had an episode and I am thankful. I do the Metoprolol…

Praising God for protection and a "meeker" storm! Enjoy your outing to the city…prayers for that as well….When I went out the last time, my car didn't want to start. I need to start/run it a bit more often than twice a month, or my battery drains. I think that's what's going on now….once it started, I left it running at…

You and Wade and all your Church folks and neighbors, Missy and her crew…are all in my prayers definitely….for this time ahead. I saw on the weather last night, the storms headed your way. Prayers for protection, provision and peace. We did have severe winds, quite a bit of damage, roofing lost from at least one home.…

I wouldn't think American cheese would do well that way but it does good for tuna melts and grilled cheese... I will put the tuna melt and quesadillas on my list for this week. Salads....in my new bowls get top billing as well as that easy breakfast "omelet" with assorted veggies. I love broccoli, onion, mushrooms...or my…

Breakfast: a 2 egg microwave omelet in my small Corelle bowl, with bacon crumbles, cheese, mushroom and green onion. It was delicious! Reigning myself in....have been in the ditch too long.

I do too...I use the low carb ones. I have a pack of spinach wraps and a pack of whole wheat ones in there at the moment. I do love the cheese toast tho and enjoy it when I have it...have been known to use a lonely hot dog bun and making cheese toast with it. I really like McDonald's fish sandwiches. I have some Gorton's…

Very nice, Kim! I too, need shorter chairs, stools and the like...and grabbers for things I drop or need to get out of the cabinets. Singing! My Mama loved to sing....I can still make a joyful noise tho my breath and range have dwindled much in the ensuing years. That was good, hearing back on the 2 MRI's....God knows…

Awesome answer to your prayer, Kim! it's so important to have a care team that listens, responds and has your best interest in mind. Oh yikes...8 vials...can I have one for my next labs? Me no likey! I laughed as that was my thing too...ran "afoul" of foul language! Oh well....I'll just be much more careful, next time I…

Thanks Kim! I'll do that and remember in case it happens again. I have his sent to the prison and and do the paperbacks for him and his taste....is not mine! Well boo....it won't let me return it. Guess reading enough to know it's not to my liking counts as "reading"? Oh no! I hope you can get a referral you will be…
