Apple does share data with MFP for workouts, but not for just everyday move calories. If you want to count the steps in MFP, you should record an outdoor/indoor walk.

Awesome job building up your endurance. I'm trying to build up as well. Right now, I am walking 3-4 miles and doing strength training twice a week. I want to get to 5 miles by the end of Sept.

I did one of her workouts last week while I watched tv. Go at your own pace and if something doesn't feel good to your body, walk in place until they move to the next workout. Good luck!
