Welcome @vexedangel678! I've been staying on track, despite a week of 12 hour days at work. More of the same next week, as deadlines are all on top of each other now...scale has stalled but I think it might be the heat. I've been drinking water by the gallon! JFT: don't eat till 2pm stay within calories 100 oz water pool…

JFT 7/4: don't eat till after 2pm CHECK stay within calories WENT A LITTLE ABOVE, BUT NOT BAD 100 oz water CHECK 30 mins exercise CHECK Same for today! It's gonna be a long day at work, so am gonna just get started...

Made my goals for yesterday, holding strong and steady...no big plans for today other than enjoying a day off...and cleaning the bathroom. ;) Hopefuly will make it to the pool with hubby, if not will do a youtube exercise video. I'm down close to 15 pounds in 3 weeks and that alone is very motivating! JFT: don't eat till…

I'm very excited - stayed OP all weekend and the scale rewarded me this morning! Seeing quick results sure does make it easier to stick with this intermittent fasting thing... JFT: don't eat till 1pm stay within calories 100 oz water pool workout (CHECK!)

Met my goals for yesterday, and my shoulders are killing me from the weight work yesterday! So at the pool today I'll focus on legs only. The scale has been cooperating so far which really helps to keep my motivation high! Work is still long days but life could be worse. :) JFT: don't eat till 1pm stay within calories 100…

Made my goals for yesterday, even with another long workday. It's nice to begin just thinking in "weeks" I've been on plan instead of "days"! Today will do a "Burpee Girl" video on youtube (so far she hasn't done a singe burpee in the videos I've chosen ha ha, probably because I only do low impact) then a yoga stretch. I'm…

Hi @misssixtea! I used to be a runner too, it was my "silver bullet" for losing / maintaining weight for many years until too many injuries (calf & foot) forced me to stop. Now I just do swimming/ non-impact exercise. Actually just returned from the pool after a workout with the hubby, and even though I was dragging a…

Good morning - made it through the weekend staying on plan but damn I am tired today! Hopefully I can work up the energy for a workout & stretch. You know it's funny - or maybe funny isn't the right word - after I had those sliders & air fries on Saturday night, I was craving bad food/alcohol all day yesterday. Thankfully…

Made my goals for yesterday - the pool opened back up so we got a great workout in the morning, and even though it was supposed to rain all day it didn't at all, so we were able to hang around outside and relax...though that meant I didn't get many chores done! Down time is more important. :) Today I'll do food prep for…

Oh these have music - just no chatter. But sometimes I also like no music because then I can just play my own. I'd never be able to work out without any music!! Even in the pool I wear headphones because music is so motivating!

Made goals for yesterday, and determined to stay strong this weekend...I want that scale to move some more! It's gonna be a rainy weekend, so there's a lot on the to do list...basically all the cleaning I've been putting off because the weather has been so gorgeous! That and making a giant photo collage of our family…

Made my goals for yesterday...pool is temporarily closed but found a new Youtube channel I really like, called "Burpee Girl." No talking (hooray) just real music and visuals, very simple and clear, plus she has a lot of non-impact & knee-friendly videos...so that is my plan. Still staying strong! JFT: no eating till 1pm…

@Snowflake1968 - oh I don't SWIM at the pool, ha ha - it's in a gym, and the highest it goes is 4 feet. I mean you CAN swim, but I jog, walk, jump & do strength work. I absolutely love it, it feels so freeing to be so weightless, and no worry of injury with all my arthritis/joint/foot issues. If you can find a gym with one…

Thanks for the encouragement @Bex953172! I was pretty darn proud of myself as you can see. I got up at 5am to go to the pool with the hubby this morning and the lifeguard didn't show up, so the pool was closed. :| So irritating!!! But I changed right from my pool gear into workout gear so will finish my coffee and…

Very long day at work yesterday, worked until 11pm. Thankfully didn't have any trouble sleeping and stayed in bed an extra hour...when I don't get enough sleep I am ravenous the whole next day, and I don't want to make any of this harder on me than it needs to be! Made all my goals yesterday, though I didn't eat dinner…

@mytime6630 - those quilts are absolutely amazing! You're so funny when you say you don't track when you're doing well...but also don't track when you're not. HA! It's very true of me too - it's when I stop tracking that bad things can start to happen...I'm tracking pretty carefully right now because my calories are so…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY @emgracewrites!
-
Good morning! So on my weekend trip to my sister's house for her daughter's graduation, something happened that has never happened before...I stayed totally on plan!! I didn't even intend to, I told myself I'd just eat moderately but not try to stay on this fasting thing I have going on because it would be too hard. And…

Day 4 and so far I'm doing great, all goals met daily. It's funny when the switch gets flipped - my brain does much better with a "no" than it does a "maybe." I've already had a big water whoosh this week and that is very motivating! I'm determined to make THIS TIME the time I get to the finish line. My husband wants to go…

Love the pictures of the garden!! So impressive! I garden too, but I'm more of an "accidental gardener." I stumble around and make a bunch of mistakes and still somehow get flowers to bloom! I also have a raised bed "salad" garden where I grow tomatoes, cucumbers and greens. It's very therapeutic to care for plants...and…

I am so sorry you are struggling. Making each day a little better is a great goal!

Day 1 down, Day 2 up. I transitioned back to black coffee with cinnamon and it really does help to in comparison to adding half and half - that hunger switch gets a little delayed. Which I had noticed before...I just like half and half in my coffee! But these are the sacrifices we make. Not all heroes wear capes, it's…

OK, pressing RESET today. For reals!!!! I hate to even step on the scale but at this point maybe the shock of the number will keep me buckled down. I'm starting a new plan (well new to me anyway) called the Fast 800 - basically intermittent fasting which I've done before and had very good results...just gotta get through…
-
@teigansdad, I'm with you. Injuries suck, they'll derail me in the same way. @emgracewrites, being sick does the same thing, I'm so sorry. I have neither of those excuses, I just keep derailing myself - exercise is still ok, just overboard with eating & alcohol. Not even sure today will be better, since there's leftover…

@emgracewrites, I need to start logging again too - I've spent the last week eating healthier, but the holiday weekend sort of unraveled that. Exercise has been good, but I need to start getting more serious about actually losing some pounds. JFT: log food & stay within calories exercise at pool 100 oz water no alcohol

Made my goals for yesterday - starting on Day 4 of back to healthy living. I'm definitely out of the "binge mode" mindset I've been in through everything that's been going on - having the house back in order seems to have put my head back in order as well! But I have no desire to see the number on the scale, I'm afraid…

Got up at 5am to get to the pool this morning - and it was CLOSED because the lifeguard didn't show up. Grrr.... but came home and did a youtube low-impact workout and a good yoga stretch, so proud I didn't let it completely derail my day. I've been eating healthy and for now I think will stay away from tracking...just…

Hope everyone is doing well! I've been MIA for a while, but after throwing all my good intentions out the window for the past month, I'm re-committing today. The combo plate of our car being sideswiped & then being in the shop for 3 weeks (so no pool), plus the kitchen reno that lasted 4 weeks, and then our vacation last…

My kitchen is in the demo phase...there's a layer of dust over everything, despite my contractor's best efforts to tape off the kitchen...to be expected, but it's gross to live in. ;) Tile arrived yesterday, phew!! Also the new dishwasher is ready and waiting...between construction and my very stressful job my health goals…

Work has been insane so my goals have basically been to get through each day without breaking down. :( Kitchen demo starts tomorrow....@Bex953172 how are you liking your new-ish kitchen? My floor tiles are lost in a truck somewhere, and the trucking guy said the driver's name was Tony Soprano. I laughed thinking it was a…
