Two days isn't long enough. Don't trust the scale for a while. It'll mess with your head. It messes with mine a lot.

Kneecaps.

Haha...I hate it when I'm singing in my head, but it's not in my head. Thankfully, I'm not usually singing Barry White...but usually it's when I'm at work and I'm listening to some Rage Against the Machine. That can also make for some awkward work moments.

Sup everyone, I'm Wess. I'm in Texas, and I've been on MFP for a long time, but haven't been the most dedicated to tracking. I've got a long way to go.

I think I want to shoot for 10 lbs. I feel that it's reasonable and attainable (provided I stay away from crappy food).

MyFitnessPal. Because losing rocks.
-
Just started last night. :) Anybody have thoughts on how to log it in MFP?

My wife is a Beachbody coach. I may become one soon. I tried T25 and Insanity...I'm not quiiiiiite ready for those yet, heh. Going to start Power 90 as soon as it comes in the mail.

Oddly...this helps me, too. Of course, if you DON'T smoke, you probably shouldn't. But yeah, nicotine is a stimulant, and that's one of the things it stimulates.

My #1 motivational song is Party Hard by Andrew W.K. It's more than motivational for me...when I'm working out, it just makes me want to work harder. Working out is party.

I, for one, appreciate a little bit of sarcasm and humor. However, you're correct. There are idiots on the internet...and this site isn't exempt. There will always be people who think they are better than everyone else...and everyone else knows that those people suck. Motivation: be better than the jerks. :D

lol...indeed. :D
-
Hahaha...no, I'm taken. Sorry.

Hands down, the best workout song ever is Party Hard by Andrew W.K. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WccfbPQNMbg Heck, it's one of the best 'get hyper and do stuff' songs ever. lol

Hi. :D Welcome!

This should be interesting... 1. I like my hair. I hate it when I can't do anything with it, but when I spike it, it's all chaotic and awesome...to me. 2. I have an awesome rock band. There's nothing that I feel more relaxed and free doing than rocking out on stage! And considering that I'm a big guy, I'm pretty active…

"You are 30 years old. Not in High School. I can't imagine you're still going to have the conversation that goes "Are we Boyfriend/Girlfriend? Check Yes or No!!" " That would actually be a cute thing. Maybe not for this general time or topic, but I love it when I get little notes from my lady. It's awesome. :D

Right on! Welcome to this place. I'm just now starting to get back towards being on track...I've really overdone it for years.

Coffee. Coffee will NEVER be cut out of my diet. If a doctor tells me to quit coffee or die, at least I'll be able to die knowing that I was able to keep from killing people thanks to coffee. :D

Let's face it. There aren't many true gentlemen left in the world. I try to fit that bill. I think (judging by the reactions of people I know), that I do a decent job of that. I've got nothing to prove to anyone but myself. I hold doors open, let ladies go first, respect my elders, respect those younger than me, value…

Following! :D @wwstewart

Sounds like you're in the right place. :) One thing that's helped me is cutting out fast food and drinking more water. Sounds basic, but it has worked. Welcome. :D

I use coffee and water. Those are my go-to things. Pretty much helps with regularity, alertness, hydration, not killing people in the mornings...

You're in trouble. Call her, find out what it is, then get that PLUS some post-its for next time. That MIGHT save you.

Thanks for being a person that can recognize awesome. :D

Nice guys don't always finish last. I know this first hand. I'm a nice guy who finishes quite well, thanks to most of the other guys being douchecanoes. Girls grow up and get tired of it. Frankly, if they don't, then they have nobody to blame but themselves. I was too nice before as well, and I got screwed over. It…

Are you all insane?

This. A thousand times. When I was single, I wasn't worried about finding a girlfriend. I had plenty of confidence, and I didn't need anyone to validate my existence. It will come in time. It took me a long time to figure out that confidence was the number one thing that I needed. It paid off. A lot. And now, I'm happily…
