LOL... well all guys need to be needed, so you're doing your part ;)

We're also the couple that say things loudly when out in public to try and embarrass each other... all in good fun of course. Here's an example: While walking through Wal-Greens I may say very loudly, "What kind of cream was it you needed again.... I know it's for itching but I can't remember what it's called"

Gotta spice it up and have some fun ;)

My wife and I are the couple who (generally) order the same meals as each other whenever we go out to eat. It's usually not intentional, we just have similar tastes and wants... Our first date was exactly this way... I called her a biter and we've been doing it ever since :)

Dude I am SO glad I read this post of yours...Seriously the best laugh I have had all freaking day! Awesome.

I get so bad about checking in, so here goes my weekly update. I really had a good week this past week; worked out the abs HARD three days, and had three more solid days of cardio to boot. Unfortunately when I finished my last cardio workout of the week I went crazy, and started eating everything in sight, and didn't stop…

This is her AWESOME husband ( ), and I just wanted to say how proud of her I am. She's been busting her butt, and giving her best, but I know we can all use a little more encouragement and motivation from time to time. If you're someone looking for a true supporter or someone who can be a true supporter, then…

I feel much better about getting a flu shot then the actual flu, so go get one. It won't hurt anything, I can tell you that with certainty.
-
I am heavily involved in weight and ab training right now, but I do my cardio every other day, and a good 15miles worth of running never hurt anyone. Please sign me up for group A. Thanks for the invite!

Not picking on you, but wow, that's awkward...

No luck for us on the US site, but great tip regardless

What a difference a week makes! Last week I was sore, and truly had some terrible workouts, but this week I have been hard at it. I know it will be a while before I see the fruits of my labor, but as I always say "you control the effort, not the results" -- This week I have put in the effort, and I am pledging to do the…

As said above me, you REALLY need to start logging. This will keep you more accountable, while also allowing your friends to provide more direction and guidance. I challenge you to start this today, and stay with it for at least a month, and see if there is a difference. I would be willing to bet you'll see more results.

This may be overly direct, and I am sorry if it comes across as mean, but you need to hear it. The attitude of; others are doing better then me, so I might as well quit, is probably what has gotten you to where you are to start with. It's time to focus on you, focus on what you BEST is, and then give it. In life you have…

Awesome tip. Thanks.

Good Monday morning Ab Challengers! I have to start with a confession... I did horribly this past week. I have been stuck in a funk here recently, taking weekends off and the whole bit, but that ends now. Okay, that's out of the way, and this week is going to be much better! Let's share successes this week, and if anyone…

Great job, and awesome work. It's fantastic to see how much pride you have in your efforts, and guess what, you deserve it! I like to say that the only things you deserve in life are the things you're willing to work for, and you've done the work, so now continue to enjoy your results! Have a great Friday.

My wife LOVES that site. She is absolutely addicted to it :) She would love to talk craft ideas with you, and she has very few MFP friends, so if you want to add her that would be great. KD101783 is her screen name.

The last part of this is probably the truest thing I've read in this entire post. I am a District Manager for 17 multimillion dollar properties roughly 10 hours a day, have 60 employees that report directly to me and have needs all day everyday, have a wife and daughter, work out 1-2hours a day, work @ home for another 2-3…

Dumb this down...laughable... just form a coherent thought and you'll be fine.
-
I am confused by this contradiction.... in one area you say don't skip a meal, and the other you say it's fine to eat all your calories at one sitting... At least both sides of the fence are covered.

I suppose many nutritional experts work for cereal companies then... I don't buy it. -- In your case you may not eat breakfast, however you are continuing to lose weight because you are allowing your metabolism to continue to be active by giving it multiple sessions throughout the day in which you are giving it needed…

Honestly that's not a good plan for jump starting, or maintaining, a high metabolism. For one your body needs fuel more then once a day, and simply loading up at dinner will only go so far. Your body is going to have reverse effects by eating so irregularly, so the best thing to do would be to at least break up your…

I would say the majority of it boils down to sound decision making, so take advantage of our greatest power, the power of choice. Our choices need to be things that are worthy of being chosen, things that are excellent and superior for our lives, so keep that in mind. The good thing about choice is that making a few bad…

Vanity -- I have always had a very athletic toned body, and then I woke up one day and had turned into a fat *kitten* (imo). I decided that life was too short, and that it was time to wake up and start living the life I knew I could have. 35lbs later I am happy with my body, and more importantly happy with myself!
-
Great post, and better information, directly above me...

If you've got the calories to spare, then I would recommend protein drinks and shots. I probably get about 75g a day just from two drinks (they are about 240calories per drink)

Great job! Not eating pizza and wings in Buffalo is a success in and of itself. I have a buddy who owns 4 pizza places up there (Primas), and it's really hard not to indulge in that stuff. -- Great work with losing the weight; what are your goals now? Your age may have helped some, but you still did the work, so hopefully…

My best advice would be to pace yourself. You will do more harm then good if you try to jump right into a heavy workout routine, because to this point your body is not accustomed to it. For the first month you need to concentrate on your diet, and be sure you are exercising in some capacity 30mins a day, 3-5 days a week.…
