All I know is that after entering food and exercise into MFP you should be netting around 500 on your net calories on your home page and I think I'm losing 1.5lb a week. This is from what I've read/heard on this site and its working you'll notice it goes up if you eat more than some of your exercise calories.

Welcome, just do whatever is comfortable for you without too much too soon it will get better for now you can just do any floor exercises you know for shorter time. Try to stick to recording calories though.

ABSOLUTELY, its just like losing blood your body gets deprived of certain vitamins that are essential to maintain a healthy lifestyle/body etc. I shall be dissapointed with you if you go the 500 cal per day route. Add me as a friend I'll give you support to lose the weight in a healthy manner.

It's all about texture you can mix anything with yogurt its used in drinks curries sauces etc, see if you like it with some fruit chunks like apples bananas etc, or add nuts like crushed almonds or you could just eat it plain with a spoonful of sugar to taste. Enjoy
