I had a whole wheat english muffin with organic peanut butter before going to the gym, then I had some granola afterwards.

I always go over, but it's almost always from fruits and what not so I'm not worried about it.

Great post, I always try to eat back my burned calories (even though it is hard to eat so much sometimes) but it seems like many people don't realize how important it is!

When I work out early in the morning my appetite for the day goes WAY down... and I *used to be* a big snacker. If I feel like eating I usually just do, but make a healthy choice by eating a grapefruit or some carrots instead of cookies. I do, I go early in the morning before work or class so I like to shower there instead of running all the way back home.

Actually the gym is my motivation to get up early since I know if I wait to go later in the day it probably won't happen! haha. I also feel like I have SO much more energy through out the day when I work out in the morning :)

I go to Planet Fitness too! I like to go early in the morning before class/work (6:30ish) and it's mostly all women there. It makes it a lot less intimidating, or on Sunday afternoons around 3:00 seem to be less busy. I'm not really that intimidated by the other people there, I just enjoy it much more when it isn't crowded…

I try to eat mine back, but I hardly have any appetite when I work out, which is something I do every day... but I'm trying to make myself eat them back in a healthy way.

1. pre-gym breakfast 2. post-gym breakfast / mid-morning snack 3. lunch 4. afternoon snack 5. dinner 6. snack (sometimes) That's basically the layout of my meals, but if I get hungry I eat something and if I'm not hungry at any of those times I don't.
