Hello fellow teachers!! I'm lucky (by the sounds of it) that my faculty doesn't often bring in food/pot lucks. My trick (for the healthy eating part anyway) is to pack my lunch at night after I've eaten dinner (so I don't munch at it or throw in junk). Careful! You need to end with 0 calories! If you are burning that many (1100), you need to eat more! As in, 2400 a day. Read up.... I think the important posts are labeled newbies. :smile:

Pick a day and time (mine is Wednesday morning too!) to weigh in, and when you are finished, literally move the scale to a cabinet or high shelf where it is "off limits" except for your weigh-in day. You could even put a sign on it (don't touch!) to remind yourself if you need to! Hope this helps! :wink:

Thanks!! I am still getting lots of nutrition - a little over 1400 calories - and lots of protein, so I hope that answers my own question.
