  • Hey don't freak out about it, it's all about education so get learning about your body and what PCOS means to you  at 20 its a great age to make positive changes and fix things before you start worrying about a family. There's a great support network of us here on MFP too. Welcome, and don't let it become your focus.
  • Rest day for me means not going to the gym. I can still go for a walk with the OH, or a bike ride through the forest etc. Loads of activity that doesn't have to feel like exercise.
  • For me it's two months, unless I know why they aren't on. Almost a year here, and the trend seems to be more than 2 months and they are never coming back. Those who have sought out the same friends again when they made a fresh start. to the people getting snotty with the OP, I think it was a fair question. Those of use who…
  • Nope. i started running when I was over 300lbs.
  • Hey Honey, the fact is that your body has an infection. It's (supposed to be) throwing all it's energy at healing at the moment. Sure; you can run - but it needs to be small bursts to build you back up to where you were before the cold. If you jump in too quickly it will take much longer for the infection to clear. Of…
  • When I finally left my (abusive) ex, my girlfriend and I put a tin of sardines into his mahogany desk and locked the draw and took the key with me. Apparently it took about a month for him to find the source of the smell. I felt very good about it. Still do 15 years later.
  • If I'm brutally honest, it's usually "Snap the **ck out of it, this (grab the flab) is why you can't conceive" Some days it works, the slap to the face is a wakeup call. Some days it gets me down. The down days are becoming less frequent though, I do love that! And every now and again I may catch myself in the mirror and…
  • I log it as "Getting Jiggy With It" and hubby and I both wore our HRM's for a session to get a baseline for it. Trust me, even at your most energetic, it's not going to be a huge burn, but at least you have fun trying!!
  • Lady Elizabeth Sussex Pratt Baaaaahahahaa
  • Don't stress - a couple of days after TOM your weight will stabilize. No point getting worried about it. Just accept that one week out of a month, your weightloss will stall.
  • try 30 DS - I lost a couple of inches over a month when I started that
  • Me! Me! 13 years TTC, 2 m/c (6 weeks, 13 weeks) and still trying :) PCOS sux in more ways than I could have imagined, but it's not gonna win

  • That's 'cos it's troll season and people keep feeding the trolls :)
  • Another miscarriage. Cholesterol has always been excellent and still is. Blood pressure before was dangerously high (hospitalised at 167/80) is now on average 122/67 (test every saturday). Fasting Blood sugar was peaking at 9. Now average of 5! That's 40lb worth of health for me :) Sorry forgot age: 37
  • LOL it gets easier. When I started 30 day shred I could barely do 3, by the end of the first week, could do 10, week 2, 15 etc. It's all about building that strength!
  • Before you do anything, ask how important breast feeding is to you. I have a friend who had a reduction in her early 20's, and not being able to breastfeed was very hard on her. It's my biggest obstacle.

  • The black ones will have people stopping in their tracks - your *kitten* is amazing!!! BUT the matching set looks better overall.
  • I like the dress but I'm going to be honest here, it's too straight up and down, it looks like you don't have a waistline. I think you can find something that emphasises your figure better
  • I have little tuppaware containers that hold serves of that sort of thing (2, 30, 50g etc) and only take what I need with me. It's not so tempting if you consciously log each container, and my OCD means I won't split the containers either
  • Really not helpful when you're struggling with infertility. Thanks for stopping by.
  • Hi there, TTC 13 years, 2 pregnancies (both M/C) and a PCOS sufferer. No help whatsoever from the doctors, so I've been on a supplement regimen now for 2 years and have a cycle I can rely on for the first time since I started puberty!! I wrote a blog I hope can help you, happy to chat if you want clarification on anything:…
  • Think about the restaurants they are likely to go to and check out their menu online. Make INFORMED decisions. skip the bread & butter. Leave the chips on the plate. Order smaller dishes (like starter size). Focus on conversation instead of finishing the plate. Start well in the mornings; the less you are eating in the…
  • Nakedness. Lots of it.
  • (1) Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back (12) Jurassic Park (6) LOTR: Return of the King (10) Star Wars: A New Hope
  • Hated her intensly, until I lost 4 inches of my waist with 30DS. "Buddy, Pal" etc annoy the cr@p outta me, but you know what, she is an awesome instructor and I luv her for that
  • I'm regularly wrong, and lazy. It takes all my will power to just get out of bed in the morning. Workouts are something I love, but I have to talk myself into them every day. And I'm the first to admit it. Maybe you need to surround yourself with some new people!!! My MFP Pals are freakin' awesome!
  • I find that the full product has ingredients that are better for me anyway - I'm a diabetic, and will rarely go sugar free because the fat content is so high, and the use awful things like aspartame to sweeten. bad for you and they have an awful after taste. By the same token, fat-free compensates by loading with sugar.…
  • 2 British Blue Shorthairs, Jinx and Jasper. Except Jasper thinks he's a dog. Only cat I know that barks at the neighbour's cat :) Feel free to add! <- Just added Jasper as my profile pic. He's a big lump. 6.5kg of pure muscle and stupidity but I love him :)
