I would NOT take my kids to Vegas!! That is for adults, couples, or girls weekend only!!

Met at the bar we both frequented back in 2003 when I was 22 years old. We did have some mutual friends (everyone knows everyone in this area). Been together 11 years, married for 6 1/2, 2 beautiful kids. I realize that most bar meetings do not have these results. :-) He was NOT one that was taken home for the night. We…

How about you do what makes you happy, have your own weight goals, and respect your husband enough to let him have this own as well.

Once you get past the first few weeks the daily logging, healthy eating and exercise become good habits. For me, once I started I felt so much better and when I would slack off I would feel poorly. Wanting to feel good, happy, energetic became worth not stuffing my face with unhealthy food (I do have cheat days believe me…

I love the feeling. Some areas are more sensitive than others. The only tattoo that I have that really was uncomfy was the one on my lower back. The rest of them were just fine.

Scale has been slow moving, but my clothes keep getting bigger and bigger and I am having to buy smaller clothes. :-)

I am an only child. I have 2 kids. Watching my 2 kids together is enough for me to know I 100% made the correct decision for us to not raise an only child. I feel like I missed out on having a sibling to have fun with, fight with, cry with, and grow up with. I also think that when I am older, as my family passes away, I…

You can always just call your pedi office and speak with the nurse. Let them know symptoms and they should be able to give you some ideas to try. They also know if there is a particular ick going around, and they can help you decide whether or not it warrants a visit. 5 weeks old though, that is pretty young. Personally I…

Keep some of the things that are too small! I wish I had because 99% of my wardrobe is too big now! American Eagle does have jeans for $30, I just ordered a pair to tide me over till I drop another size. Otherwise, consignment and thrift stores, or Old Navy, are your friend.

I wear yoga pants and a tank. Don't like it? Don't look. I am not there to be fashionable!

Yes.. I want people to see me and think "she lost a lot of weight and looks great". Plus, when I feel confident about how I look I am in a MUCH better state of mind, which helps my marriage, my friendships and being a good mom. Happy chick=Happy household.

I had eliminated refined sugar for 3-4 weeks, and did great, felt great, cravings gone. Then the birthday parties hit.....and cupcakes....and as soon as that sugar hit my system I was hooked again. So I am back to day 1, allowing NO refined sugar in my diet, and suffering the cravings. Reintroduction went very badly for…

I tried it after hearing the hype and now I LOVE it. We don't even have cows milk in our fridge anymore. I buy the unsweetened Vanilla and use it for every purpose that cows milk would normally serve. I just prefer the taste, as does my little boy, and hubby has lactose intolerance so it works well for him as well.

Nursing professors can be horrid *****es. Not sure if they forgot where they started or what, but they tend to have a complex. It is a good start to building the hard shell you are going to need to be a nurse. Let it roll off. I had a nursing instructor talk badly about me when I wasn't even there, for getting married.…

50 lost is my 1st large goal. I have 17 down as of 5/30/14 when I finally got my butt in gear and started making a total lifestyle change makeover.

Getting the app on my phone as we speak. Not sure how it is going to work with dragging 2 kids with me, but I will try! Wish I had a jogging stroller right about now! Anyone else doing it with their kids? I bet I could get my 4 year old to run the shorter times with me, otherwise he could ride his bike.
