Brian, that's an amazing achievement. Over 15,000 calories burned and over 6 pounds weight loss. That's still fabulous from every angle. You've been a great support to me as well, so thankyou for that too. xx

Zara, you've achieved so much this month. Incredible when you think how poorly you've been feeling. A great weight loss and calorie burn. I am doing the dance for you. Woohoo! Thankyou for running this challenge. I'm looking forward to the next one. I am sure you will be looking slinky in that dress on Christmas day. x

SW: 276 GW: 269 CW: 267 Total calories burned: 20,440 I wanted to lose 7 pounds but have actually lost 9 pounds. Woohoo! I can put my old work trousers on and walk around in them so I'm happy with that. I still need to lose a bit more before I can risk sitting down in them, lol. I set a goal of 3,000 calories a week, then…

I swam for an hour and a half today- 80 lengths- 2km. Probably won't be able to move tomorrow, lol. Total October calories burned: 20,277

Total October calories burned: 15,297 Had an unexpected visitor today so lost some of my exercise time. Hey ho. So, it's full steam ahead for the next few days. x

You're doing so well Zara. You've really stepped up the calorie burn this week. Quick easy bean chilli- tin of mixed beans, tin of sweetcorn, tin of tomatoes, bit of chilli powder- bring to a boil then simmer while you cook some rice or pasta. Mmm.... You can always add a bit of grated cheese if that's something you like. x

Amazing work hun. x

Fab goal. We're right behind you. x

I've reached my weight loss target for the month so am going to not worry about that this week. I wanted to burn 3000 calories a week but have already made it to 14,190 after today's swim, so.... I will joint in on the 20,000 goal by the 31st (eek!). That leaves me with 5,810 to burn. I will be having a rest day tomorrow…

Darla and Brian, you are both storming it this month. I'm very impressed by your efforts. I managed to do some yoga last night and have been working at the rescue all day today (guinea pigs) so lots of cleaning out. I am sooo tired now. x
-
Darla, that's amazing! 10 miles is incredible. Zara, I'm up for a calorie challenge. I could do with a push as I've had to let things slide this week. Post it on this thread if you like, then it will keep all of the October bits together. x

Thanks sweetie. The fibro is soooo bad today and my fingers and hands hurt so much. Going to take some painkillers and go to bed now. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow. xx
-
Zara, Darla and Brian- you're all inspirational. Fab work lovelies. xx I didn't lose any weight this week but am not going to get down about it. I have really struggled all week with depression and pain, so am just chuffed that I have managed it all without turning to food to blot things out. Have still managed to exercise…

Home-made pesto would taste nice.

Btw, Zara asked about my home-made fruit lollies. They are incredibly simple- 100g frozen fruit (berries are good) and 300ml of apple juice- blend together (use a small amount of juice to start and then add the rest)- pour into 4 ice lolly moulds and freeze. Mmm... so good. 45 calories each 10 carbs 10 sugar You could use…

Darla, that's a very well deserved loss. You're having an amazing month! Brian, you've done so much already. Good idea to take a rest day and let your body recover. I'm hurting today and my balance is terrible. Walked to work and back and did a short yoga session tonight- who'd have thought standing on one leg would be so…

You're smoking it Zara! The fitness guy at my classes says that when your muscles are hurting the next day, they are actually burning calories. Hope that's true!! Fingers crossed you get the loss you deserve at next weigh in. x
