Wow! Darla and Brian, you're smoking this challenge. Fab progress so far. I squeezed in my yoga session last night, although later in the day than I'd planned. Did cardio and strength training this morning so feeling back on track. Will do my calories burned updates weekly for this challenge I think. x

Fantastic work everyone. I'm struggling a bit the last few days for time and energy. Definitely going to fit in some yoga tomorrow to get me energised, then I'm home on Thursday so going to go for a big burn. (There, I've said it now, so it HAS to happen!). x

In the UK you can get Worthenshaw's Freedom iced dessert- vanilla, chocolate and strawberry- 80-85 calories per 100ml. They taste nice although not very creamy. Also Booja Booja 'ice cream' is gorgeous. 150-210 calories per 100ml depending on the flavour. Quite expensive and can be difficult to get hold of but soooo worth…

Wow, fab day Zara. You're really killing it with your work outs. x

I'm Sharon. I currently weigh 276 pounds. Goals for October: - weigh 269 pounds by 31 October (lose 7 pounds) and hopefully fit into my old work trousers (I can pull them up but they're not ready to do up yet!) - burn 3000 calories each week and introduce some new types of exercise - I usually swim once a week, so I want…

You have so not let the side down at all hunny. Look how much you did, especially considering you were invalided out for 2 days! Huge accomplishment. Hugs all round. xx

Great that you still managed to be active on a bad fybro day. Hope you feel better tomorrow but don't push yourself too hard. x

Longer, less intensive exercise can still work and is great for improving fitness but try and bump your heart rate up at regular intervals as you go. If you're walking then do your normal pace for a couple of minutes then walk faster for a minute then back to normal pace. Repeat throughout your walk. The same goes for…

Good to hear about the things that other people find helpful. x

SW: 279 Day five. Calories burnt: 160. Total for the week: 3423 Tough day today. Major fibro flare up and I hurt soooo much. Managed to walk into town and back although was a bit wobbly and got a few funny looks from people (they probably thought I was pissed, lol). Hopefully will be feeling better tomorrow. x

That's a great effort Zara, especially after a long day. Well done. x

Thanks lady. I got up especially early to follow your example and do some strength training before I went out. Think I will try and work exercise into my morning routine as it gives me the opportunity to do something else later. Otherwise I put off exercising until later in the day and then only get one hit at it. Today…

I'm in Kent and my borough council runs a 10 week weight management programme. They also run an exercise programme, where you get reduced rates at the leisure centre to use the pool/ gym/ some classes. I was referred to it via my gp practice. The weight management programme is run by a nutritionist and a fitness trainer.…

You're looking great.

Nakd bars- Berry Cheeky and Cocoa Loco in particular. Will be having one tonight as my weekend treat. Mmm..... Oh, and raw cashew nuts and sultanas. When you eat them together they taste like Christmas pudding and cream (to me at least). I have to weigh a portion and put them a little pot though, or else I would eat too…

Wow, your stomach, chest and shoulders are really firming up. Fab work.

Thanks for sharing. You look so happy now. It's great. x

That's interesting. I usually use deep relief ibuprofen gel as I hadn't had much success with others. It has menthol in and it cools the muscle at the same time. I didn't know movelat did a gel. Will ask my gp to prescribe it. I have cut down a lot on processed food too. I think you're right that it does make a difference.…
