definitely weigh yourself periodically, ideally on the same day and definitely in the morning when you get out of bed. the weight fluctuations are due to water-weight changes. I weigh myself every sunday morning after I get out of bed. I've heard somewhere that it's not just about losing weight, but it's about losing…

I think it's sweet that your little brother wants to eat and spend quality time with you. I'll leave it up to you to make the right food choices and do portion control. 1 pound per week, so 4 lbs per month more or less. It's a realistic, consistent goal that is easy to manage and I know that I'll be able to maintain it in the long run. Looking to lose 14-15 pounds by the first week of December :)

Weekly. I schedule my weekly weigh - in every sunday morning when i wake up. Its best to do it in the morning once a week because daily weigh-ins will reflect too many fluctuations due to water weight. And definitely do it before breakfast!

To be consistent you need to follow a specific regimen. 4sets of 25 reps will easily get you to a hundred per day. Rest and stretch after the first two sets. Also arrange a set time during the day to do your squats. Make an appointment for yourself every day.

Hi Kristina, Congratulations on your commitment to include strength training to your fitness repertoire. I have followed an easy formula that I picked up while strength training with my brother and his wrestler buddies in high school ten years ago, and it's worked for me because I can practice it consistently at the gym.…
