I just posted pumpkin cheesecake bars on the recipe board. They are really, really good!

I made these last weekend and my office and husband thought they were great (I did too and now I am craving some). The calories seem high, but that is based on if you had only 12 slices out of a 13x9 pan. Those are huge pieces! I had about double that many servings. Ingredients Crust: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (6 3/4…

Hello Wolfdame! Welcome and good luck on your goals. I invite you to go to this thread: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1689-what-does-your-screen-name-stand-for and tell us how you choose your screen name!

Thanks fo rthe tip. I was just going to start a new thread asking people about what their favorite healthy snack is!!! Lately mine is wheat thins or triscuit type crackers with a little piece of low fat swiss, pop it in the microwave for about 15 seconds and then put a little slice of apple on it. Yummy! I do get bored…

I am by far the smallest person in my family - even though I feel I need to lose 10 more pounds to be healthy. My sisters give me grief sometimes, but I'm so proud of myself for keeping healthy most of my life. Keep that mantra of being healthy at a louder volume in your head than your need to 'please people' by giving in…

Wow - some really interesting answers! Thanks for sharing. It was fun to learn a little bit more about people in a non-weight related subject:smile:

Nellie: It's pretty simple really - be aware of what you are consuming, how much you are consuming and tailor your consumption to meet your goals. Check this out: http://sparkpeople.com/resource/nutrition_articles.asp?id=394

Whoopsie - I mean 'copyright'. Nice new picture sugarplum!

Jeez, I wonder if I am going to get a lawsuit on copywrite infringement:noway:. I never thought of that.....

Wow - these are more diverse and interesting answers than I thought! Razboo - I never did the DandD thing (although many of my friends did), but I did just do a quick search on wikipedia and Raistlin seems like an interesting character to take an affinity too! Crazy how things stick..

 I'm assuming it was a nice cartoon!!!

Okay, the answer is obvious for some folks who use their real name as their sign in name (or is it your real name?). But what about the not-so-obvious names? How did you come up with your name - what does it mean for you? I'm so curious I wonder what all these interesting screen names stand for... Mine is pretty obvious.…

Hi Kebear! We're here for you. You have just joined the MFP Force! Good luck and keep us posted on how you are doing.

Nellie19: This site is for people who are concerned about their health and wish to live a healthy lifestyle - including a healthy weight whether it be weight loss, weight gain or maintaining a healthy weight. I can't speak for everyone because I have no way of knowing, but I have a strong suspicion that there is virtually…

Hi Mike - Welcome to the site. I think you will like it. We are all in this together and you will find much support so that you can keep that "non rec" off your record and get your promotions.

Cheryl - I did see your Jimmy picture. Thanks it was so sweet of you to post him! Yeah, I found that I have to invest in good shoes -like Borns. Now that I know they work I should definitely try the online shopping.

No it isn't failure if you go over. Try not to get out of hand, but your body may be telling you something too. Just make sure you drink a lot of water because oftentimes we feel hungry when we really are just thirsty. Try the apple - bulky and nutritious! I'm worried that if you don't eat something now you will eat way…

I'm ditto'ing Healthier.... (full of ditto's today). Thanksgiving challenge has had lots of wrenches thrown in it. So I'm moving onto the Christmas challenge. My goal - lose my last 10.5 pounds by 12/21.

Cloe: First off, try to relax. No need to get more stressed. Take care of your body and honor it. Try to stay disciplined in what you eat. It will be okay. You can only do so much and only juggle so many things at one time. First things first. Be good to you, try not to let it get you down. You have enough going on already…

Great idea!

Ditto to the Dinks (double income, no kids) here. My husband and I work so hard, so many hours and volunteer a lot. So, we don't have time to work in a work out let alone create gourmet meals. (Although I am sitting here eating home-made pumkpin filled wontons with gorgonzola sauce. This isn't normal, but I took a time out…

Nice pic Cheryl!!!! I have no shoe fetish. I have ridiculously small feet (5-1/2) and have the most difficult time finding shoes (worse than trying to find a good bra). So, when I find any good shoes/boots I buy them, but only high quality so that I can wear them for a long time. I usually end up taking my shoes and…

I'm so proud of you! :flowerforyou:

Awesome results Agitch! Isn't it great - even when you went over on your birthday (which is a perfectly good reason to go over). I'm so happy for you and I want you to succeed on this journey. I know you will continue to feel better and better as you lose more and more. You can do this!

Yucky...... Poor thing. I feel for you! I managed to get an intestinal bacteria when I was in Matzatlan last February. It lasted three weeks. I lost a lot of weight, but it came back in a hurry and then some. My doctor told me I had to exercise extreme discipline in my food in order to not have my metabolism convert…

I'm with you girl! Great job so far. I have 12 to go before December 27 (my 10 year anniversary) already lost 11. So keep in touch and lets keep motivated:wink:

Fabulous news! Keep going lady!

I have read this over and over and have been pondering your question. I have no clue as to what would cause this to happen, especially since it sounds like you are doing more weights than aerobic. I would continue to track this and some part of me wonders if the first measurement was correct. What kind of instrument was…
