 Not that you are counting or anything,

I always do... isn't it enough that I am AT work? Do they expect me to DO work too? That would be harsh,

My oldest was HUGE at birth and by the time he was 4 months old I HAD to supplement him with cereal and rice to hold him over and keep him full (he was 10Lbs 11 1/2 oz at birth and grew FAST). My 2nd though, she didn't start on any "food" until she was 7 months old... she was fine without it and was sustained with…

Don't wear it daily, but fairly often. However, I don't feel like a bum without it. When I go to work I have it on 70% of the time, otherwise not too often. Too busy to really think about it I suppose

You have to work through that ouch. The first 3 days it hurt to sit on the dang toilet, After that I didn't hurt as bad. It doesn't get easier, but your confidence gets higher... you HAVE to keep going though. That honestly is the key.. keep going. You can do it!

Or the "you sure look tired today" comment... I get that. I usually respond with "and you are looking particularly gorgeous yourself" and they shut up :) LOL!

Done :drinker:

A lecture on essay writing. I didn't say it was thrilling, LOL

Not a one, ever... :( Eh... it's good to be an original too :)

^^ Bingo! If you have good looks, it gets someone to look at ya. If you have no idea how to treat someone, looking is where it will end

What a huge difference! You look wonderful!

Know the feeling... just "dig deeper" ,

I had real bad shin splints and also hip issues until I got the right shoes. Could it be related? Sure. If it continues with the correct shoes then I would question your warm up or stretching. They have topical gel or lotion to help with inflammation I used to put on before running and then icing after helps a lot until…

I am with ya! ASICS Phoenix Gel 4 are my favorites. As soon as I have more money saved I am going to order more the next time they go on sale at Kohl's so I have back-up for when these ones wear out. Have tried a few pair, these are the gems for me though

Tricep dips are good... there are variations of them and they work nicely. Not sure what you are doing now, so hard to offer up an expansion for ya. :)

If all you want is a calorie measurement, then the FT4 is the basic model and will serve your purpose. I have the FT60 because it has the fit test on it for target range, and can be transmitted into computer and such. Added features that cost more, but sounds like that would be beyond the scope of things you would want to…

Best advice is find your coping mechanism for keeping things straight and work off it. For me, sticky notes are my guide. I tried phone reminders, agendas, etc... but those sticky notes are my savior. I use different colors for different categories. My friends and family has always gotten a kick out of it, say my office,…

I have a Polar FT60 and LOVE IT! They also have the Polar FT4 which is the least expensive model, but still comes with chest strap for accuracy. I have seen the Polar FT4 sell for as little as $50-60 online auctions, they are like $80 in stores.

It's hard to trust either. I use a HRM and even then I know it's not a perfect amount, it only estimates too based on heart rate. I will say that I noticed my HRM gave me about 30% less calories burned then MFP calculator if that helps?

I love Tae Bo ones, have been doing Insanity and seeing awesome results from that too. I have heard good things about 30 Day Shred but have never tried it myself

Parents who put their kids on a leash... it's a little human, not a dog... just sayin'

I don't go to a gym to workout. At home: Insanity DVD, kickboxing, weights, elliptical Outside: swimming, biking, walking, running, and tennis I have 2 different areas to run... one is on the regular back road, but my favorite is a desert terrain area... quiet and awesome :)

Someone had flashbacks to getting picked last in gym class? Social phobia? If they look at your machine they are too close to you? Seriously though... I understand being annoyed... but at the same time, if you are motivating them, isn't that a good thing? If they are not infringing on your personal space, is it really…

Mom of 3... all c-sections here too (not by choice). HIIT seems to be the most effective for me... you can even accomplish that on an elliptical too. Up resistance and elevation with the intervals. :) Good luck to you on all your goals :)

Pour Some Sugar on me - Def Lepard..... Don't judge me,

^^ This. Makes me wonder

This is totally possible. For me, when I go months (yes, months) on a weight plateau, my body reforms. The tape measure shows some changes, and it seems like everything shifts around a bit. Then when the tape measure seems to stop now, is when the scale moves. When the scale stops and the body shifts, these are the…

My great-grandmother and grandmother on mother's side both passed of cancer.... my grandfather on father's side also. Watched them all. One of my uncle's on father's side beat cancer, another one has the blood cancer that there is no cure for. My mother has also beat it. All over the family and running a 5K in March to…
