I have 2 more pounds to go for my end of the year goal! Should be manageable even with treats assoc with the holidays, managed to not gain over Thanksgiving!

I agree! Some races like the hell run or other mud runs make sense to pay for, but usually I figure I can run for free if I want to and don't feel the need to pay $25+ to run...

Last time I lost weight I ate about 6-8 peanut "diet pills" everyday. Worked really well to keep me from feeling deprived! Now I will only use these pills during the holiday. The mint ones are the only ones I eat now that I'm a chocolate snob....

Lots of people in my October group were very overweight and out of shape (me included). Some people finished in 30 days some had to take some days off. I went with the modified moves and made them even easier and it still was pretty intense!

Some may disagree but I am a firm believer that while you can't target areas to lose weight you can target tone. And since a pound of muscle take up less room than a lb of fat toning your upper legs makes them smaller. I think mine always touch some even at my fittest, but that is because I carry lots of weight in my legs…

I find that a lot of weight loss is psychological. Last time I lost weight it was about 90lbs and it took me a long time to realize I looked different at all. And this time I have seen some success pics of people who have lost weight and are now 25 lbs more than me and I think they look like 50 lbs lighter than me! Could…

I just exercised at 10pm. Heading to be soon. Sometimes it keeps me awake for a while, sometimes it doesn't. But I figure being up a bit longer is worth getting a workout in!

I don't really believe in neg calorie foods and I do log veggies because they have nutrients in them and I like to see if there is anything I am lacking. if I didn't log veggies it would throw off some of my #s.

I recently raised mine to 1500 because my net kept being around 900 because I was afraid to go over calories. Now my net is closer to 1200. Don't know if it is a good thing or not yet, I'm all about trying new things to see what works best!

The study is very interesting, but as they mention in their conclusion, it applies to women at acertain point in their cycel. It isn't generalizable to men or even other women unless they are at the same part of their cycle.
