I've been searching for at least 2 weeks and both of my Target stores still do not have S'mores FiberOne bars. I'm soo sooo sad. QQ

Light exercise. Go for walks. I'd perhaps eat at maintenance so that your body has fuel to fight the infection.

I tried it several times and was never able to stick to it or have any success. The vanilla shakes were gross, the strawberry tasted like chalk and chocolate was the only one that was remotely passable, but it got boring. It also taught me nothing about portion control or nutrition.

I'd just add what you see. I always record new lows.

No, that's most likely not the reason. It's more likely either logging accuracy or temporary water retention (of which there are many reasons for... carbs, sodium, ovulation, period, exercise, etc Are you weighing your food with a food scale and logging consistently and accurately?

Yes. However, if you're using MFP to estimate your calorie burns, only eat about half of them back, because MFP likes to overestimate things a bit.

Yes, if I'm unusually more active, I'll probably eat 100-200 more calories.

Whichever time works best for you and fits into your schedule.

I started at 211 (and I'm 5'2). For others it was at 30 lbs I started getting tons of comments. For myself, it was closer to 20 lbs, but I could only see it in my progress pictures.

First, weight loss is not linear. In other words, your weight fluctuates, constantly. There will be weeks you lose, some you stay the same and some you gain. Your gain could easily be water retention... which could come from a whole host of things, most common being starting a new exercise, increasing exercise, excess…

"Better" is pretty subjective. I wouldn't say doing Zumba is better than running on a treadmill or vice versa. Any activity is better than none. Yes, Zumba is fun. Yes, you'll burn calories. The "better" part of it would be if it holds your interest and it's something you'll continue to do. Just don't expect to be running…

You just have to have the determination to make it a priority. If you want it badly enough, you make it happen. On the flip saide, maybe if mornings aren't working so well for you, you should try afternoons or evenings.

This is where progress photos come in handy. I took mine every month.

Work them into your calorie goal. Try to pre-plan them/pre-log.

On the scale, within the first week. Visually, a slight difference at 20 lbs. In clothes, it took 30ish lbs.

Hey, those 1 lbs a week add up quickly and before you know it you'll be at goal.
 -
No excuses here. This is true for me too.
 -
If it fits in your calorie goal, it won't hinder anything.

I wouldn't worry too much about the macros, except to make sure you're eating foods that will keep you feeling full. First trimester is one of the hardest, because of morning sickness (which thankfully I never had with either of my girls) and food aversions/cravings. I had an extreme aversion to meat... so it was hard…

Necromancers... necromancers everywhere! :) Unrelated, but this thread was showing 5 new posts for me and I've never read it or replied to it. Yay.

You should maintain for your first trimester. Do not actively seek to lose weight without your doctor's permission. Your body is going to basically be working overtime to sustain pregnancy, baby and body and needs the calories an nutrition.

Only you can motivate yourself. No one can do that for you. Good luck!

I go with the flow. If I feel hungrier, I will eat... otherwise I'll power through or just increase a couple hundred calories.

Sounds like endurance issue to me. Back when I first began, I was lucky if I lasted 15 seconds. ALOT of walking for months later and I could finally last longer. It took me 10 months from my starting point of just walking to be able to run a 5k. C25k might also help with that since it's intervals.

Exercise for fitness and cardiovascular health. To lose weight, you need a calorie deficit. If you're eating less calories than your body burns, you'll lose weight. So, assuming your logging is correct and your "most of the times" aren't too far over (and putting you into a surplus over your maintenance calories), then…

Good for you! You're in for a surprise, lol.

Definitely speak to a professional since you have a history of disordered eating. And talk with your doctor about your anti-depressant. If it's not working, you need to switch it, even if it's the 80th time. The last thing you need to have happen on your wedding day is to be depressed and have anxiety. Pretty sure that…

This. Do you suffer from an "all or nothing" mentality? Do you eat lunch out and then think to yourself, "well, I might as well just give up for the rest of the day"? Because that happened to me alot before I got serious. It was only after ditching that outlook and understanding that I could fit the eating out and sweets…
