My husband texted me yesterday, asking if I wanted to go out for sushi last night.....Is this a question?? So I have a couple pieces of leftover California roll to go with my turkey-swiss roll-up! I broke up a square of dark chocolate to fill in the gap, which it didn't quite manage to do. And then salad.

I forgot to take a picture before I started eating, so there's just one lone little shrimp tucked in there next to the onigiri; I had more around the buffalo wings to keep them from moving. Salad in the small tier with balsamic vinaigrette (not pictured) for a total of 480 calories.

I actually use the ziplock baggie trick from the Just Bento site. It helps you mold conical onigiri (the ones on the plate) and then I squish them into a flat triangle (the ones in the bento) if they're going into a bento box.

I met a friend at Panera yesterday (got just a sandwich, apple, and water - very proud of my self-control) and didn't have time to make a bento for today so I'll be buying lunch again :/

There's a ramen place near me in Westminster (Sheridan & 74th-ish?), but I've never tried it b/c my husband is lame. Let me know if you ever want to drive down and try it out with me!! ^_^

I managed to scrounge together a bento this morning! :3 Turkey and swiss roll-ups with a car-shaped egg in the big tier. Shelled edamame, cheese (brie and gruyere), and strawberries in the small tier. Extra (unshelled) edamame from my pre-portioned baggie stuffed in random spots :p
