How much did you approximately eat before the start of your "weight loss journey"? According to your profile, you have been here since June, and have only lost 5 pounds. Obviously this is not working out for you. Eat more. I suggest 1000-1200, for a start.

There is no guarantee. I wouldn't be too concerned about the speed of your weight loss, though. Just focus on eating healthily and exercising.

No. The number on the scale and the feeling of accomplishment is enough for me. And besides, there is no greater award than good health! Every moment you live healthily, you are rewarding yourself. I don't need material goods as a source of motivation. But, to be honest, I can't wait to fit into my old clothes.

Of course you should eat more if you are nursing! And consuming more calories doesn't necessarily mean it is unhealthy.

What is extersize? You mean exercise, right? Anyway, running burns quite a lot of calories, as the elliptical. I suggest some weight training as well.

TDEE: The amount of calories you burn in a day. Don't confuse with BMR (basal metabolic rate). http://www.fitnessfrog.com/calculators/tdee-calculator.html

The smaller you are, the harder it is to lose because of a lower TDEE. If you have a small frame, like me, 2 pounds does make a noticeable difference.
