Maybe go for a 2nd opinion? It seems odd to me that you would be as muscular as you are and your belly would push out so far. I only have life experience to go on though, no type of medical training. :)

One other thought... have you had any pregnancies? It reminds me of my diastasis from my twins. It's a split in the abdominal walls and inside stuff pushes through. Although I can't flex my muscles like that b/c of the split, so maybe not? Also I had a friend who had some type of hernia after her 3rd pregnancy and it made…

Have you been to doctor? Your stomach looks distended to me. (obviously just a guess since it's hard to tell in a pic) That can be a symptom of lots of different things... Irritable bowel, celiac disease, food intolerances, food allergies, lots of other stuff. I think it would be worth making a doctor's appt to see if…

Bump... I want to follow along... Hope you don't mind... :) Edited: I forgot to say CONGRATULATIONS! I cannot imagine the dedication and mental toughness it took to accomplish such an amazing transformation. Truly inspiring!

I replace the cocoa with some kind of chocolate protein powder. Yum! :)

Holy friggin smokes! What a great tony Horton testimony! I am finishing up week 2 of p90x. Your results are motivating!!!

My net is 1500-1600 on avg. Instead of focusing on net, I make sure to keep my deficient around 300. I want to hold onto as much muscle as possible, so I can see them when I get to my goal weight! I have a small frame. Just to give you a frame of ref, my wrists are only 5.5". Thank goodness being short with a small frame…

I upped my calories to 2,000. I lost a lb last week and already lost another lb this week and weigh in isn't until Saturday! The best part is i have more energy to fuel my workouts. Eat up ladies! It's so worth it! :)

I am 5'4", 132 lbs. My goal is 16% body fat, 110 lbs. I started here at 1200 cals and lost 6 lbs in 8 weeks. 2 weeks ago, I bumped my calories up to 2,000 and lost 1lb the first week and I'm already down a lb this week and weigh in isn't until Saturday! I am losing more at 2,000 cals than I was at 1,200. So I no longer…

It sounds like your metabolic rate has decreased and your hormones might be out of whack. You could try a full diet break. It only takes about 2 weeks. Great read about it... http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/fat-loss/the-full-diet-break.html After the break, my rec would be to eat enough to net above your bmr daily. I…

I agree with the recs to find one thing and stick to it (my fave path is eating enough to net over my bmr b/c food is awesome) and to measure and record everything that passes your lips. I actually don't agree that the type of foods you eat matter, but I do find healthier foods allow me to eat a lot more. Restrictions make…

I'm working on 20! :)

I spent the first 7 weeks on here confused and spinning my wheels. Finally last week, I upped my calories to 2,000+ and feel so much better and i'm still losing! Eating so little, working out so hard and obsessing over the scale made me feel frustrated. Now I feel confident that I got this in the bag! :) Up them!!! You'll…

Yes, I think I actually am! I have finished 2 weeks and a couple family members commented on my body looking firmer (especially my butt lol) today. :) I really love the weight lifting and Ab ripper!

A little off topic, but if you'd like some support from fellow p90x'ers you should join our group... P90x challenge. :)

I am also doing p90x (starting my 3rd week) and eating 2,000. My goal is to preserve as much of my muscle as possible and lose slow and steady. I'd say stay that high for a few weeks and see what happens, then reassess. The nutrition guide actually recommends a min cal level of 1750 if I remember correctly. :)

110 and muscular. About 130 now and super pudgy on my frame. :(

Lol! What a great sense of humor!

I am 5'4", 132 lbs. I just upped my calories to 2,000 (about 300 under maintenance per bmf) last week and am down a lb! The best part is I have more energy and don't feel deprived any more! I wish I had done this 7 weeks ago when I first started mfp!

I am finishing up week 2 of p90x and running. I changed the program to fit both for my goals. I do the weight lifting videos 3x a week and run about 20 miles weekly. I had to up my calories to 2,000 (causing just a 200-300 def) to support both though! :)
