You look amazing, and your approach to weight loss and fitness is perfect. I love your attitude, and oh man, your legs are awesome! I'm so jealous!

My thoughts exactly! You look cute a button! Great work. You look amazing!

I'm hypo as well but I was on Armor Thyroid. I didn't gain weight from my meds, but I didn't lose any either. Since I quit taking them and just started focusing on eating clean and exercising a lot, I've lost 25 lbs. your thyroid controls a lot more than just your metabolism, so if you're experiencing other symptoms that…

30 - lack confidence. I already knew that, but my score would have been way higher 85 lbs ago, and it will be lower 15 lbs from now.

At New Years, I was 205 and a size 14. I just had to buy new work pants last Saturday in a 11/12 at 179. My weight loss hasn't been distributed evenly. I went down two shirt sizes, but barely one pants size.

I use them when the weather sucks. I like the newer ones that in lots of kickbacks and knee lifts. I'll do the 3 or 5 mile one depending on my mood and time allotment. I'm also training for the AVON walk, so sometimes, I just turn it on to keep pace for an hour or two.

Last year, a newspaper article circulated about an old coworker of mine who tried to rape two joggers in Galveston, TX. The first twarted him because she was wearing a fanny pack and he couldn't get it off of her. The second one got away because she was jogging with a piece of pipe and she hit him with it. I thought that…

5'4", 181 lbs, hourglass. I wear a size 12-14 (US). I would like to get down to 160-165 and hopefully be a size 8/10.

Mine is my resistance band. I have a cheap $5 one that came with a workout DVD, but it has done SO much to tone an build muscle in my arms, and I can toss it in my purse to take anywhere.

Sounds like fun! Count me in! I love challenges. They definitely keep motivated everyday.

Yay! #2! Thanks so much for the challenge. It was a great motivator! I'm looking forward to great results this month too. :)

I make a similar pancake batter with 1 cup oats, 6 oz Greek yogurt (apple cinnamon Chobani is my fave), 6 egg whites, 2tsp sugar and 1 tsp vanilla, blended up in a blender. We make them every Thursday for pancake day.

Literally laughed out loud. I applaud the honesty.

I love this topic. When I got divorced, all of my male friends encouraged me to start working out, so that I could "be super-hot" and make my ex jealous. My husband didn't stop loving me because I gained weight. He stopped loving me because I lost my confidence. Now that I've regained it, he checks me out and looks…

I have a scar on my left bicep from my old job. I was 8 months pregnant and trying to pull a 75lb battery backup off of a top shelf when it fell. I managed to catch it, but the corner of the box caught my arm. It left a slice and massive bruise that I had to report to the shrink/safety department. My boss was not a happy…

I love beer and will admit to being a moderate beer snob. But, I totally get your annoyance because I feel the same way listening to people talk about folk music or indie films.

When I first started really working out, my cramps got worse and lasted for like two weeks, but the last period I had was hardly noticeable. No cramps at all and my whole period lasted for like 3 days, so I'd say there's some truth to it. At least once your body adjust to the new activity.

Jeez Louise! You look fantastic!

I exercise for an hour or more everyday and try to stick to around 1200-1300 calories. I quit taking my thyroid meds about 8 months ago and I've managed to lose 22 lbs since New Years.

I think calorie requirements are different for everyone. There is no hard and fast rule. I stay between 1200-1500 calories a day. 1200 on days that I don't work and closer to 1500 on days that I do, but I have a physically demanding job. I also have a thyroid condition which is why the lower caloric intake is necessary for…

I have the same problem. I think the pain comes from the fact that your legs aren't doing the longer forward strides which uses your back muscles, so your back gets stiff. It helps to vary your steps and move around the room a little. Also, whenever you start to feel the pain, check your posture. Tighten your abs and keep…

Ellen Page. I've been told by several people that I not only look like her, but act like her, especially after Juno came out.

Since 2009, I've lost 80 lbs, but I've just recently started to notice certain changes, since I'm pretty much the smallest I've ever been. One that I noticed over the last couple of days (and I was actually thinking about it this morning) is that I actually feel my height now. I'm fairly short at 5'4", but I've never felt…

That's why I like restaurants that offer tiny dessert options, like Applebee's dessert shots, and the little two-bite brownie with the dollop of ice cream or olive garden's dolcinis. One of those with a cup of coffee is a really satisfying way to get your dessert cravings without the calorie bombs. And many chains here in…

I have been known to tell myself and others to "just keep swimming." Lol it really does help. I actually keep myself motivated through different methods. Knowing I have a weigh-in coming up for a challenge or a contest helps. I use GymPact which helps me work out. For every day that I miss a workout, I have to pay $5,…
