Count me in! Sounds great! :)

When I first decided to lose weight (I weighed 265), I decided to start with my diet. I ate a lot of sweets and fast food, and rather than wean myself off of them slowly, I decided to go cold turkey. I bought the book, "the biggest loser - 30 day jump start" and followed it for a month. By the end of the month, I was down…

Love your story, especially the emphasis on the importance of finding and listening to the people who know what they're talking about! You look amazing and your TL:DR summary cracked me up. Great work on the whole thing and all of your success!

Wear my bikini without a shirt or worrying whether my boobs will pop out Wear short shorts without being self conscious Never again feel like a guy is "out of my league" Jog, run, go backpacking... Be able to do fit and active things and keep up with my friends Have the confidence to send my Best guy friend the pic of my…

Love it! You look absolutely amazing!

I really don't like getting salads anywhere, simply because I feel like I could make one at home for like a buck. That said, I will occasionally crave the grilled chicken and berry salad from Wendy's. Just get the half size and leave off the nuts (if they're the candied ones). Their raspberry vinegarette (sp?) dressing is…

Awesome work!!

I was actually thinking about this today! When I'm trying to lose weight, I get really enthusiastic about it. I eat right, I work out a lot, and I think it kind of takes things over for me. I go into it full-force and while I don't mean to, it tends to come up in conversation a lot. It's a passion and people like to share…

My daughter says some weird stuff. She's 4. The other day, I was relaxing in the tub and she came running into the bathroom, tore off a piece of toilet paper, dropped it in the toilet and closed the lid. Then she left. She came back a second later and did it again. I asked her to quit wasting toilet paper and she told me,…

Done! I'm still going though. :)

I'm 5'4" and I'm 190. My highest weight was 265, and my lowest ever was 183. At New Years I was 205, so I've been trying this year to finally get down to 170ish, which is my goal weight. My BMR is 1680 and I stick to between 1200-1400 calories a day. I do exercise a lot, but I totally agree with you about getting your diet…

Wow that's great! That's the best results I've seen from an actual person doing P90X

Yes! I can't eat fast food or anything fried or I feel like crap all day. I just get sick to my stomach and I want to curl up and die. lol

Nerdfitness is a great source for non-gym inspiration. They do a lot of focus on body weight exercises.

Definitely check out Mark's stuff. I've done paleo in the past, but it's not something I could do all the time. It definitely worked for me, but I get really irritable without carbs (fruit just doesn't cut it) and I've found that my current lifestyle of healthy foods, portion control and plenty of exercise works just as…

Getting there!! Should finish way ahead of schedule, but I'll keep going. :)

I've cream, cookies or donuts. It's horrible. I can't keep them anywhere near the house.

I started at 265 and I guess once I got down to around 220 people started to notice, and then it seemed like every ten pounds after that would elicit comments. Over the past year I've yo-yoed between a 20 lb weight difference and no one notices. I think I'll probably have to lose another 20 lbs or so before anyone can tell…

Done!! My calves hurt. lol

I'm in!

Update - still keeping up with my vow to walk 5 miles a day, so I should end up well over my goal.

I'd say beautiful body, because I think I have a pretty face, but I never noticed it until I started liking my body more. I think having a body that you're proud of makes you feel like the rest of you is more beautiful. And as for a mate, I'd rather they had a beautiful face, since most of the time, that's what I'm looking…

Like everyone said, you'll be less sore as you get into better shape. Just a tip though, I personally don't experience any soreness until 2 days after a big workout, so I make sure that if I work out extra hard, then I take a break the next day, otherwise, the two-day-after soreness will hit so bad that I can hardly move…

I'm in! My goal will be to walk 100 miles in February. This will be my first month doing this, but I love the idea! Definitely a good motivator for bathing suit season. :)

You look awesome!! I'm so jealous that you were able to run a 10k. Learning to run is definitely a goal of mine. Don't you feel so much better when you eat clean? I can hardly eat even a low cal meal at a restaurant now without feel stuffed and gross. Keep up the good work!
