This sounds great!

You and her are both frustrated. You said she was usually good? Perhaps she is just not ready to be potty trained yet. I'm not suggesting you don't encourage her to use the potty, but don't force her. If her mother insists she use it, ask her how she goes about encouraging her without frustrating her. No, I'm not a mommy.…

Good for you! I've only been here since early September. I weigh a lot, but even with a 12 pound difference, I've noticed improvements, like it isn't as hard to get my rear off the couch or out of a chair. Congratulations on your success!

Either great minds think alike, or we are sharing a brain!

Poor man. I'm a very large woman, and I've given up myself several times. This time, I asked God to help me. If I can pray for others' health issues, why not my own? Anyhow, I know how he feels. You can't change it. You know you did your best to encourage him. That's all you could do.

I bought tootsie rolls two weeks ago, and still haven't opened them. If they had been Hershey's or Snickers, they'd be long gone and I'd be kicking myself. I don't hate tootsie rolls. I'll probably have one or two on Halloween, but I can resist them as long as I want. My suggestion is to buy candy you don't find so…

I agree that vagueness is probably best. And throw your doctor under the bus if you can. "We'll see. I see my doctor regularly, and he says 'keep up the good work'. He'll tell me when I've lost enough..." Otherwise, there is no way you will get everyone to mind their own business. Especially, I think some people really do…

If you have a crock pot, a packet of taco seasoning and half a cup of water of it on low for 8 hours is nice.

I prefer to just wear a little color on my lips. I'm usually not pale, but when I am, I'll brush on some blush. Smeared make up looks worse than none, so often I just choose to wear none.

Dang. I was going to guess "The Tide is High" by Blondie.

People who think negative thoughts about strangers don't matter. YOU do! (I'm speaking as a very large woman who wears a swimsuit and uses the pool or beach whenever I get the chance. Most people don't stare or make comments. I had an issue ONCE. Teenage boys. I smiled, walked up to one of them, and asked him how his…

What activity do you like to do? Not all activity has to be done in the gym! The weather is beautiful this autumn!! Run, bike, jog.... enjoy the weather while you still can!

National Alliance on Mental Illness. http://www.nami.org/ My friend has a son who was diagnosed with schizophrenia, and she found NAMI to be quite supportive and helpful.

Have you looked into NAMI?

I have more than a 100 pounds to lose, though I put my goal here as 100 pounds. I figure when I reach that, I can reset it, but the way my mind works, I need to see that butterfly on the ticker move! I don't buy potato chips any more. I slice a potato very thinly, spray a microwave safe dish with cooking spray, and…

My husband has sleep apnea. He uses a CPAP. He asked the doctor if losing weight would help, and the doctor said not with the kind he has. (Sorry, I don't understand the differences, and I wasn't with him to ask questions.) I can understand why you want to be done with the CPAP, but I think you should wait until you are…

Are you getting enough potassium? Potassium and magnesium deficiencies can cause calf pain.

I haven't tried it, but my husband prefers Coke Zero to Diet Coke, even though he prefers a Diet Pepsi to both and will order it when it's available. Formulas can be different, and while I'm okay with that, I agree that it is dumb to market pop as if men will avoid the word "Diet" on a can of soda. Even if marketing…

That is true. Couldn't hurt to see the doctor...

Could your doctor recommend you to a physical therapist? A P.T, would give you exercises to challenge you and improve your arthritis with aggravating your hip and knee.

If by holidays, you mean Thanksgiving and Christmas, then yes! (Halloween not so much. I buy candy I don't like for the tricker treaters, like tootsie rolls, and don't eat it...). Christmas makes me thing of HOT CHOCOLATE! But, last year I saw that Celestial Seasonings has a Candy Cane Peppermint tea, and Bigelow has…

What did your team say when you told them your concern? They have the same race to run too, don't they? Maybe they don't realize there isn't a healthy menu option. If they do, maybe you could suggest a healthier alternative before, and agree to go after?

I can't believe how how you can look so feminine while wearing a camo hat. (Don't be afraid. I'm not hitting on you. My husband would frown on that. )

Honeycrisp with peanut butter. Gala is good, too!

Great job! I can get my wedding ring and engagement ring on and off again. Still a little snug though, so I'm going to wait a bit before I wear it daily again!

I just finished nutrigrain eggo waffles with peanut butter, chopped apple, and chopped banana. 510 calories, but every ingredient is healthy, right?

Put on some music that you like! Music hath charms...

Eat the watermelon. Have a piece of candy only if you can limit yourself. I know I have a problem with Snickers, so I don't even buy them for Halloween anymore. The poor kids get Tootsie Rolls, because I can just take one, or most days, none. You ARE doing awesomely! Don't let TTOM rule your thoughts about yourself.

Will winter be affecting you? I live in Chicago, and am enjoying the outdoors while I can. (Not running. Just walking.) The treadmill, elliptical, and strength training equipment will still be there when it's too cold, snowy, or whatever to enjoy being outside.
