I LOVE the idea of chairbiotics! Thank you for the suggestion! Sometimes I have ankle pain that leaves me questioning what I could do! (I usually choose strength training then, since none of the machines work my ankle. :smile: )

You seem to me to be feeling overwhelmed. Pick ONE thing to change right from today on, and do it! (Upper body exercise, or watch sugar intake, or watch cholesterol intake, or watch sodium intake...) Give yourself a couple of days to feel successful at that, then tackle something else!

What is your doctor's advice? Did he give you any therapeutic exercises or stretches?

The number one thing right now is the exercise. I was sick last week, so I didn't work out. I felt better yesterday, but didn't go to the gym without a good reason. Today I am going.

Do you usually weigh yourself first thing in the morning after peeing? (I know I do! :wink: ) If so, that is the weight you should go with. I love mint tea, especially when Christmas comes near, and it's easy to start dreaming of hot chocolate with marshmallows. "Candy cane" tea does quite nicely! :wink: "Ginger Snappish" tea also does quite nicely.

I have an underactive thyroid. Losing weight is hard. I am finally on a good dosage and the last month has gone well for me. But this has been a difficulty.

I take a multivitamin, because I noticed some days I wasn't getting enough calcium, some days not enough vitamin C, some days not enough iron. As a teacher, I have seen cases where even the SMELL of nuts set off a reaction. Some students have to have a special table. I agree that if the allergy is that severe, mom should provide the snack, but it still may be important for her to not be around nuts.

Slice a small potato (thinly) and place the slices (one layer) on a microwave safe plate that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Lightly salt the potato slices. Heat on high for about seven minutes. Remove from the microwave with a pot holder. I hope that helps!

I liked the Aldi Happy Farm greek yogurt the best. It has the consistency of sour cream, and makes the best substitute for it on a baked potato or taco.
