Thank you. Someone had to do it, and I didn't know how! Loved the pic!

I only wish this on a few people, but YOU deserve to be RICKROLLED!!!!!!!

I'm with tootsnpops. Invite her over for tea and a healthy snack. Leave out your videos in an obvious manner, and casually mention that you use them to try to lose weight. Engage her in conversation. Mention that you are trying to get healthy. Listen to her own health concerns. (Maybe she'd be interested in joining you,…

I am so sorry for your loss. Consider yourself hugged again.

This sounds great! I copied and saved it to my recipe file.

I think I might end up "over motivated" and sabotage myself by skipping meals and stuff. (A million bucks would mean not worrying about being jobless, which would be SO great....) I know skipping meals is bad, but I'd play head games with myself. I may tune into the show tomorrow though. I hope this isn't "whoever loses…

Great job!

FORGIVE YOURSELF!!! I wouldn't be in half so much trouble with my weight if I had learned to forgive myself! DO eat healthy foods today, because your body needs them to heal (rather than decide that you met your limit...), but don't worry about the past. My momma used to love this quote, (though she didn't know who…

Egg whites. Beans. I'm not sure if you consider them low calorie. I like the beans because I need the potassium and fiber. (TMI ? :blushing: Sorry...)

Tip number two is perfect for this time of year! OKTOBERFEST! OOOOMMMPAPA! HAHAHA! Thanks for the tips. :flowerforyou:

Good for you, hon! I hope I will be able to say something similar in 89 days!
-
I need more potassium and less sugar in my diet. Once I find a winning combo, I'm sticking with it!

Christmas. The music, the decorations, family, Church... It's all great. Last year I broke my toes the month before, so I didn't decorate. I LOVED having an excuse to watch Christmas movies all day!

The problem is that some people take being nice as flirting. I think we should be nice and kind to each other period. If I tell a friend's husband his shirt (tie, suit, hat, shoes, whatever) looks good on him, I don't think that compliment is flirting. If I added a wink, a giggle, and tickled his arm, it would definitely…

Yes, I did! I took a peak at different "reports" the last few days, and noticed that my Potassium was low, so I looked up Potassium. The internet has a bunch of information indicating that Potassium helps to balance Sodium!
-
I was checking out my sodium levels the last few days, too. It may seem obvious, but I really did notice that the days I ate processed food were worse sodium days than others. Good luck to you.

I can't answer how real it is, but I used 39 this morning on Fiber One 80 Calorie Honeygrams, fat free milk, and a banana, and was also disappointed at how close I am my sugar goal.

I count it! It's good for me to not get discouraged! If I'm too tired to go to the gym because I was cleaning, I don't have to feel like I failed, but like I chose something different instead! I really tripped myself up with discouragement in the past! Every little thing that can keep me encouraged is a blessing from God!…

Tracy dear, one of the things I LOVE about mfp is that I can calculate how long I spent cooking or cleaning on a day I did not get to the gym, and it will tell me how many calories I burned. We can get credit for the work we do at home! So later, when I do some gardening, if I'm too sore to go to the gym, I can log in the…

When I fall in love, it will be forever.... (YES!!!)

Does the brown rice have to be cooked first, or does it cook in the crock pot during the 8 hours? Somewhere I have a recipe similar to this, but it never occurred to me to use brown rice.

Laughing too loudly and disturbing the peace!

Once upon a time, there was a young woman who made herself a cup of chamomile tea. At first, when she looked at it fully brewed, she was a bit disgusted, because it was warm and yellow, reminding her of the time she went to the doctor and he told her to... well nevermind, I'm sure you get the picture. Anyway, she REALLY…

Qarol, . I wish I'd have said that. I'd seriously miss meat. Maybe I could consider lessening meat, but not forgoing it!

Congratulations on your anniversary! I like your attitude! Really. I've always had trouble forgiving myself for my "bad" days and get discouraged (I'm working on that, though...). I think giving yourself permission for one day and then returning to being "good" is an excellent idea! I wish you success!

Hi Linda! If you want a friend on here, let me know. I'm not as scary as my avatar! I picked this dude for my avatar because of his bad hair day! (My most positive feature is my sense of humor). I know what you mean about being tired of being fat, and I know how it feels to weigh more than you think you do. (Shhh... it's a…

First, forgive yourself. I think part of my problem is that when I see myself reverting, I get mad at myself and give up on me. I am working on forgiving myself when I fail and quoting Scarlett Ohara "tomorrow IS another day...." when I see I had more sugar or cholesterol than I'm alloted. This forgiveness thing is new to…
