I have pcos also. I found out in oct 08. My doctor started me on metformin and i am down 46 lbs. It took my body a while to get used to it but it has worked great.

I am on the same med. I have pcos. It has helped me alot with weight loss. Even though your not a diabetic it realy helps keep your insulin levels in check which can realy help with the weight loss.

your bottom number is great but your top number is a little low but i dont think low enough to worry. I would have it checked a few more times before i worried. Also those machines can be off .
