I weigh myself about 5 times a day so that I get a feel for which parts of the day I am the heaviest/lightest. Also just because I like seeing my numbers go down! And like you, I get excited when I hit that new low! Of course I don't weigh in every day on MFP... usually every week or so, or whenever I have gone down a full…

I am in! I feel a plateau coming on so I need to kick it into high gear! However my weight hasn't been coming off at 2 lbs per week so I'm going to aim for 8 lbs this month so that I'm not setting myself up for disappointment.... but I'm still gonna work my butt off! CW 11/1/12: 164 lbs GW 11/30/12: 156 lbs UGW: 130 lbs We…

Yes you may :)

I'm on an 800 calorie diet where I eat 800 calories, and then I eat 700 more. It's worked great for me.

Went on vacation with my hubby over the weekend, and ate 4,000 one of the days. So every day this week I have been cutting out 400 calories of my intake (not by eating less, just exercising more) to get rid of it. It's a week to week thing, your body doesn't reset itself every day. Also, I know they sound like a broken…

While I respect those possibilities, 99% of the time they are not the case.... I'm not some scrooge who throws the candy at the kids and slams the door. I just think kids are never to young to start learning to be polite.

I just posted this response to another Halloween topic: (Obviously this is on the parents' shoulders to teach their kids or go with them to the doors, can't expect 4 year olds to know this stuff.) 1. Teach your kids to take one piece, unless the candy-giver specifies otherwise. It's so rude to take whole handful. 2. Say…

So true. A couple of other TOT etiquette conundrums that bother me: (Obviously this is on the parents' shoulders to teach their kids or go with them to the doors, can't expect 4 year olds to know this stuff.) 1. Teach your kids to take one piece, unless the candy-giver specifies otherwise. It's so rude to take whole…

Without gravy, life would hold no meaning.

I don't want a "thigh gap" where I look like a waddling bird-legged flamingo.... but I WOULD like to get to a point where I don't have to put baby powder on my inner thighs to keep them from chaffing because they're so dang flabby :grumble:

Happy for all the great responses and friend requests! I'm glad there are others out there who haven't sworn off naughty foods.... I just want to have friends who don't go bananas when they see "processed foods" and "chemicals" in my diary! Like many of you I still eat my veggies and lean protein but there's nothing wrong…

THIS. it's your birthday, one treat day isn't going to ruin your progress. You can lose weight and still live a little :) On my birthday next month I plan on going to Olive Garden and eating breadsticks galore!! Happy early birthday!

I just had a cheat day yesterday. In my opinion, they keep me on track because I don't feel deprived all the time. I'm not going to tell myself I'm never going to eat a cupcake ever again. This has to be something I can live with! Also, I believe it kind of "resets" your metabolism and helps to prevent plateau-ing. This…

Myth. Simple as that.

Raise your calories to 1400-1500. You'll have more energy, guarantee it. It will also be easier to stick to it long-term if you don't feel so deprived. Also, there are worse things you could be eating than nuts and protein bars! Don't be so down on yourself! Be patient. :)

Eat a McNugget. Key word being "A" McNugget. One. Uno. Eins. 1. One McNugget has 48 calories. Surely 48 calories won't kill ya :)

This pretty much hits the nail on the head.

I'd take you on a date  haha JK I don't swing that way but still :)

Don't fall for this, guys....

Smart woman. This^^^^ if you just read this one post you are set :)

Did you know breaking the cookie actually causes calorie leakage?

I personally don't think it's rude, but the only caution I would give you is if there are grieving families there. A lot of people think cemeteries are sacred and not a place of recreation, that's what parks are for. Just be very careful.

Congrats! You look AMAZING

Looks yummy. No different than any other cookie recipe though. Kinda disappointed by the misleading "Healthy" title lol. Maybe instead, using whole wheat flour or oats and not adding as much sugar? Also dark chocolate chips would cut it down a little. Thanks for posting :)
