What a great inspiration you are! I recently had a conversation with my trainer (who's awesome at the fitness, not so much with the nutrition end of it) and I was telling her my struggle to eat all my calories in a healthy way when I am allotted so much to start with because of my weight and then I work out really hard at…

I SO agree with this too!

Going out to eat is hands down my hardest battle! I can't tell you how many times I think about hitting happy hour with the girls and plowing thru tons of appetizers and drinks! lol

I love this quote ... and really need to remind myself of it often ... Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail. --Ralph Waldo Emerson

I am the exact.same.way!!! I'm still trying to find the right balance. So many people are recommending diets to me that are so restrictive that I know I'll never live the rest of my life eating like that (no dairy, no sugar ... blah blah) so to start with I only eat a healthy/balanced diet of foods that I know I can spend…

Well this week I lost ... 1.4. So basically I lost the lb I gained last week plus .4. I can't say I'm not frustrated. This week I'll make it my mission to eat all my calories including what it says I burned!

Thanks for the advice and suggestions! My trainer is telling me to slow down at the gym because she's afraid I'll burn out. It's hard though because I am genuinely enjoying it although I have felt it when I've pushed myself too far! My trainer is AWESOME but she's admitted to me the first day that she's not the best to ask…

My mother and I can be the same exact weight, she's about an inch taller than me but I will wear a size smaller than her at the same weight! I can't explain it, to look at us you'd think we're built the same but for some reason we're just not. Personally I think it's because I just carry my weight differently. I tend to…

I am definitely interested in following this! Thanks for sharing!

Good job!

I can understand your "lack of staying power" because I've tried different times and have always lost motivation and fallen off the wagon. About the excercise though, it sounds like you just haven't found what works for you. The gym might not be your thing. Hiking? biking? Walking? running? ... look into trying something…

I'm pretty sure it's 8 oz! :)

That's awesome! Keep it up!!! :) :)

Awesome job!!! Thanks for the inspiration!!!

Feel free to add me! I'm 6'2 and although my "ideal body weight" is 180 I'd be thrilled to be in the low 200s! I have a long way to go but I'm on my way! :)

I have to agree! I've noticed that the healthier I eat the less I go! I remember asking a similar question though and the response was that my body is actually using what I'm putting in it. Last week I had to grab something quick before class and I ended up "splurging" and getting some french fries and the next day my body…

I'd be interested in reading the replies. I have a similar issue but my injury was from a year ago in July. I can't do a spin class, it's way too painful! I am going to my regular dr on Tuesday and will be asking for a referral to a orthopedic dr as well. I'm ready to get this injury behind me so I can workout with out…
