I graduated in 1990 at 202. I got all the way up to 320 by age 31, but I weigh less now than I did senior year (about 20-lb difference).

Awesome job! Last summer I cut my hair short so I wouldn't have the issues with sweating. This year I go to the gym in the mornings in my hard rollers or I just deal. Please add me if you like! Also, I belong to a FB group called Black Women Do Workout.

I am doing this also, however cumbersome, because I have been on WW for more than six years and have kept most of the weight off. I am enjoying MFP because when I did only WW I had no idea what my daily intake was/should be.

Absolutely. My DH was at his heaviest before we married -- my organization used to have live entertainment at its annual fundraiser and for a couple of years the entertainment (a woman) flirted with him shamelessly. "Hey, big daddy ..." :mad:

Yes, usually two glasses a day -- although I sometimes replace the morning serving with fat-free yogurt.

My hair is relaxed too but am considering going natural. My last touch-up was on Sunday and I went to the gym several times this week (AM) in my scarf and hard rollers. I have no shame, LOL!

Hands down, the girls! I just tried on a dress that wouldn't zip all the way up (I was wearing a sports bra and hadn't planned on buying anything). I bought it anyway as motivation.

Exactly. In the end, it isn't the food or even MFP that will keep the weight off -- it is how we incorporate crucial skills into our daily habits.
