You look fantastic! Great job. Obviously you know what you're doing- 10-12# by May is totally do-able. Congratulations!

My gym has the "doctor's office" kind of sliding balance. Even the people working there will tell you it's off. Personally- I love my digi that reads to the 0.1 #.

No! But I really need her... She sounds VERY impressive!!! :)

That's funny! My best friends are 5'9", 5'9.5", and 5'2. At least we don't discriminate!
-
Ha ha... I love the convention idea. Also- I really need to wear better shoes! :)

My whole family is tall: we range from 5'9" - 6'4". I'm 5'11" (the "baby"), have 2 brothers: 6'2" & 6'4", My Dad was 6'2" and my Mom is 5'9". For my maternal side- the shortest cousin is a female at 5'8" the tallest is a male cousin at 6'5". Dad's side ranges from shorties (can't even guesstimate) to my 6'5" uncle. (Does…

Recently, I upped my trainer sessions from 1x/month to 1x/week. To me- it's totally worth it, but I'm a natural slacker. Working with a trainer introduces me to many new exercises I wouldn't do on my own, and performing with the correct form. When lifting weights- he pushes me harder than I would every push myself. After…

Like Cowansar, I'm 5'11" and am usually an inch or two taller than the "tall" girls I know. Very rarely have I been introduced to taller women, but I always notice if I'm out and a woman is taller than me.
-
I'm 5'11"- currently hovering just under 200 (woo hoo!), trying to get to 175. We're on the same journey!

I agree that it's frustrating! For the holidays- I went home with a 15# loss... and no one noticed (ok- 1 person!). There were several comments about how good my jeans looked on me- but it was ME not the jeans (I did not correct)!!! Now- I'm focused on when I see my family in July. How much weight can I be down- then?!?!…

Those who do a couple of reps on a machine & then SIT there for another 5-20 minutes "resting" (Husband- I'm looking at you!!!) Just do it already!

Never worn a bikini before... don't know if I have the guts... BUT I certainly could use the long term motivation!!! My whole family is getting together in Orlando for the 4th of July- and I would LOVE to rock one out and see the shocked expressions on their faces!!! (I'll send you stats this evening Beccyleigh) Beccyleigh…

I'm 5'11 & working to get to 170-180#. and I totally agree with Jenn152! This is about getting to where you are content with your body- not someone else's ideal...

Agreed- too cute!!! I love my furry heads, too (as well as my non-furries: fish, turtles, and lizard). My life would be incomplete without my menagerie, and I found a husband who can put up with me and encourages the animal love. I'm so lucky! We have 3 cats that constantly antagonize one another, but it's a power circle:…

I am not an athlete, nor have I ever been. When I graduated high school- I wore a size 16. Although I've lost weight here and there, it was never in a healthy fashion, and it never lasted. When I turned 30, I got fed up with myself and I joined a gym. I was good about going at first, with my husband, but he quickly lost…

that is fantastic!!! I bet a lot of people don't/won't recognize you!!! Congrats.

How many calories you burn is going to be different depending on your height/weight. I'm 5'11", 200 lbs, and according to my HRM- I burn between 225-250 cals doing 30DS. (equivalent to about 35 min. on elliptical for me)

A scavenger hunt with several awesome gift from my now-hubby, then boyfriend. The end led to a poem he wrote telling me he loved me (For the first time!). There was also jewelry, flowers, and a "birthday" mum. I'm from Texas- and we have these huge homecoming mums (if you don't know- google it and be amazed!). Hubby is…

100 days is only 14 weeks- yet, you've lost 15 pounds!!! At this rate, you're losing 1 pound a week- which is perfectly healthy and recommended! Keep doing what you're doing... because you're doing it the right way!
-
This is SO cute!! But seriously??? $142! ouch! I'm in the $20 range myself- I'd have to make damn sure I could wear this one for a couple of years!!! I do think it would hide all my stretch marks! :)
-
I've only been asked one time & I've never worn the shirt I had on again! It was a cute shirt, but it was very flowy- NEVER again.
-
You're looking great! I love how you and your man match! hotness...
-
You're doing great!!! What a difference a year can make. And your snake skin shoes.... awesome.
-
These pics gave me the chills. You are awesome!
-
You currently look amazing- can't wait to see your "after" pics. BUT- your dress and the victory rolls in your hair for you wedding- super cool! You looked beautiful, then, too! (PS- you may need to start taking your cat running with you! :) )
