Why don't you try cutting back to one of those mini bottles of wine per day until you are used to your new diet. When you really get into it then think about cutting it out altogether.

Lost 40lbs a few years ago. Have now gained about 80lbs. But I'm back and I'm going to get back to a really good place again. I've decided to do mainly calorie controlled at first. I'll see how I go and if I need extra there is a gym where I live.
