Yesterday I managed to go straight back to my regular calorie budget on MFP without being tempted to carry on with an extra day of Christmas. All the foods like sweets that could be saved have been put in sealed containers for my birthday next month.

It's up to you. Some people do actually do better on weekly/monthly weighing because they stress out over the fluctuations and basically can't handle it. When you put your weight in each day it will sometimes come up with that picture when it determines you've lost an amount that you get that picture. No idea what % triggers it. I never get whole numbers like 30lb - instead I would get one that says 30.2lb and it irritates the pants out of me.

I used to do Weight Watchers too and this works so much more accurately than the whole 'free' foods thing. But stuff like veges is very low calorie anyway.
