Make sure you are getting enough protein with your carbs (in meals and/or snacks) it will keep you feeling full longer. Plain greek yogurt with fruit is a good one. The flavored greek yogurts can sometimes be high in sugars.

Sounds like you need a new nutritionist and dr. If you are loosing inches I wouldn't worry about any gain. How many days a week are you doing this? You have to give your muscles time to repair.

This is what I feed my daughter for lunch alot Arnolds sandwich thins - 100 calories 2oz lowfat lunch meat. - 50-60 cals ( Get that protein in!) 1 apple ~ 60-80 calories

Not all greek yogurt is created equal! Check the labels before you buy. I think the plain ones are probably all ok, but I know the Dannon and Activia (sp?) add ALOT of extra sugars to the flavored ones. Each person's body chemistry is different. I can tell you this, when I do low carb, I feel so much better. I loose weight, I have energy, I'm not b*tchy. I'm actually a bit hyper low carbing because I've so much energy now lol.

Very likely the majority of that is water weight. But at your height and male, 1200 calories seems extremely low.

How are your clothes fitting? What does the tape measure tell you? Are you getting enough water in? Are you tired/hungry? Be careful of eating to few calories with heavy exercise, your body could go into starvation mode.

I try to get between 100 - 150gr, normally around 130gr of lean healthy protein.
