  • 23 years?! Did you get married when you were 10 or do you just not age?
  • Single, but have a very persistent bf that's dropping not so subtle hints.
  • Well, I'm going to assume you're from the US, so no. You are not 21. If you were planning on staying in and drinking at home, sure, but going out and partying can get you in big trouble. If you were of legal age, sure, just fit it into your calories for the week and make sure you stay hydrated so you don't get leg cramps…
  • I can't/won't give them up, but I did alter my desk drawer selection. Instead of full size chocolate bars, I have the minis or snack sizes. I bring a piece of fruit every day to curb the cravings. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I take a walk at lunch instead of sitting in the break room with everyone else. They…
  • Your mind is limiting your body. You can get healthy if you convince your mind that this is the right thing. It won't be easy. Sometimes it'll just plain suck. You'll get hungry, cranky, sweaty, and sore, but that's ok. Every little change is a step in the right direction. Take it day by day. Start every morning being…
  • 5 am? If anyone ever sees me at a gym at 5 am, I've been drugged. Please call the police. I don't know how you people do it. Wayyyyy more dedication than I do.
  • I stopped jogging and biking outside because the local high schoolers would drive past me, yell obscenely rude comments, and try to run me off the road. Now I have a treadmill and a stationary bike in the basement. :(
  • I eat eggs and/or avocados every day. Yes, they contain fat, but they also contain lots of other yummy, awesome for you things, like protein and healthy fats. I don't worry so much about the fat content and judge food items on their protein and fiber content, since those things seem to affect my body the most. Find what…
  • What a transformation! Congrats, you look amazing!
  • Not bad at all. It has protein and calcium and tastes amazing.
  • Never heard of using it for weight loss. My bff has diabetes and it's really helped normalize blood sugar levels. So yay for that! Not sure about using it for anything else... Sounds fishy.

  • You can't spot reduce. You can't slim one or two areas. You need to either stay at a deficit to slim down or eat a surplus to gain muscle.
  • I didn't think I was, but if you take everyone's suggestions as criticism, you're going to have a bad time. Sure, a few people called you out. Personally, I don't think an appetite suppressant will work in the long run, but whatever you want to try. Others had nice suggestions like Body Glide, eating right, drinking more…
  • Unfortunately, there's no way to spot reduce and there's no quick and cheap fix for extra skin. Get some Body Glide if the rubbing is irritating your skin. The only two things that can tighten loose skin without putting on muscle are skin removal surgery and time. In order to make the skin not look so bad, you need to put…
  • Almost no one here will judge you. We've all been there. Some of us have been there several times... myself included. The hardest part is getting started. Find active things that you enjoy. I hate running, but walking, swimming, and playing sports are fun, so I do those instead of just plain, boring, sweaty, gross running.…
  • MMMM MMMM MMMM, You look good at any weight, but just for the sake of not calling you out like a piece of meat, great job!
  • You can add me on here and FitBit! geneswayy@gmail.com I'm not at the top of the list when it comes to steps, but I try!

  • Admitting that there's a problem is the first step. Joining MFP is the second. You're on the right track already. Follow MFP's guidelines. Exercise more with your little guy. Find active things that you both enjoy and it won't seem so bad.
  • FitBit is supposed to sync with your phone and then with your MFP account. When I get my 10k steps in, I "earn" an extra 800-900 calories on MFP. If it isn't syncing correctly, contact the MFP help people in the Contact Us section at the bottom of the webpage. Sometimes MFP just refuses to sync with fitness trackers. It…
  • If you stop eating, drink nothing but water, and quit your job so that you can work out all day long, you may be able to do it. Unfortunately, you'll probably be in a coma by the wedding, but hey, you'll look hot in that hospital gown.
  • Ehhh. I guess. What else do I have to do at work?
  • I was a vegetarian for 7 years and never had a problem getting my protein in. When I became vegan though... I struggled every day to get my calories in. But I LOVE CHEESE, so veganism only lasted a few months.
  • I triple up on bras when I run. I had a lot of embarrassing moments with boobage... Muffin boob happens and that's fine, but when the hole thing decides to take a vacation from bra-land, we have a problem...
  • I drink like a fish and eat like a pig over the weekend, but I eat better during the week, so the calories even out. Of course the extra intake makes me "gain" a pound or two, but after it all passes through, I'm back to where I need to be. I refuse to give up my fun just to look good. What good does it do to look good if…
  • I take my liquor on ice. If you like soda, drink diet soda with booze. Some juices have more calories and sugar than others, so it doesn't hurt to ask the bartenders what they offer. You can always just exercise more to even it out. I refuse to give up my whiskey to lose weight.
  • Awesome!!!! I got sick of buying new belts every time I gained or lost weight so I bought a leather punch. lol
  • First off, congrats! I'm 5'9 and haven't been below 160 ever. I'm not even sure I can be that light. I would keep up with the weights. If you can build muscle, the flab will fill out in a good way. If it's just skin flab, keep up your water intake, keep the skin hydrated with a good lotion, and give it time. Skin takes…
  • Nope, that's way too specific and kind of sounds like an amine character. I don't know of a single friend or coworker that would live up to these expectations.
  • Only a little beer belly, not a pregnant looking beer belly. lol
  • Smile and sense of humor. If I can see they're having a good time and laughing, I instantly want to interact with them. After that, grizzly facial hair and a nice butt. Mmmmm booty! If their back jean pocket has a worn out circle on it, EVEN BETTER! Skoal cans FTW!
