I say just be sensible when you get there, eat slowly and if you can take small bites and talk lots! :) Drink lots of low calorie fluids to fill you up!

I asked the same thing the other day ... its just eating unprocessed food, wholegrains, pulses, loads of fresh plain fruit and veg. As close to natural as possible ...keeping sodium fats etc and sugars down. bit of a detox style eating.

Ahh yes... if you have it over the tile cracks or on a soft or uneven surface that won't help! :)

I just have a cheapo ish £15 one bought from the supermarket - seems to be consistent. Matches with the 2 in the gym too! Work out my body fat % from body measurements... Not incredibly accurate but it's a good enough estimate.

Banana with some wholemeal toast! And a cup of green tea!

Honestly? I think you need to prioritise. Eyebrow waxing over exercise? Really? Every day? You could work out at 2100, you'll probably perk up a bit. Or instead of straightening your hair in the morning, go for a run, and tie your hair back for work. I put my hair in a bun in the morning. It's tidy, neat and quick to do. I…

And.... sorry for the numerous posts... SLOW and controlled. Its definitely quality, not quantity.

Oh and don't over train your abs, your back muscles need strength training too... dorsal raises, B52s, the Plank....

Pilates! My sister and dad both swear by it ...as has EVERY physio I've ever seen. It can be quite a work out and was designed as a combination of physio/yoga and acrobatic moves! Stuff like the plank, pushups, dorsal raises, B52s, spotty dogs, supermans, alternate box raises, squats are all good, Lots of shoulder and…

10Km is my fave distance! Ran the Manchester 10 Km and several RAF events too... Typically try to run between 5 and 10km on a training day, although did 15.9 on Monday and 9.3 today. I typically run 5Km in about 25 minutes or just less. so you're doing well! Manchester 10km took me 55 minutes but I GPS-ed it and actually…

I only log washing the car! Cos that's a hella job and half the time I'm freezing my bum off too! I only put half the time it took though!

Perhaps IBS or a food intolerance? Or the fact you are eating a lot of fruit/veg/carbs/dairy? Lots of reasons, if you have pain with it, see a doctor-will probably be minor and be able to give you some stuff to help it settle, but everyone fluctuates through the day... the food and drink has to go somewhere! It's life,…

If you don't have the app on your phone- get it! Great for adding/amending without forgetting and for being accurate! Be honest with it- plan ahead with it so you can derive your shopping list from the planned meals and quantities so you don't over spend/waste or deviate! Plan/factor in exercise too. If you know one day…

Get a set of scales! 3oz is about 75g in the UK which, is about 1 smallish carrot. So I'd say 1-3 but this is not an accurate way of measuring! :) Val

I think light work outs are a great idea... or do the laundry then, washing up, chores. Exercise is an appetite supresant. I found myself not having a morning snack at all, or lunch at normal time (I ate later a small lunch instead) today as I was doing exercise and it didn't even bother me! Not even a growl from the…

Keep at it. You're going to have to make this sustainable. Push yourself a bit each time, whether its 5 minutes longer, 1 km/1 mile longer or up a few levels. When you're consistently working out try adding extra days or 2 workouts a day. Do you have an iPhone/ there is a great app built in (I think you can get it on iPods…

Just my opinion, but I don't think one day of going over your fat limit is that bad. There will be days when you're under, and days in the other nutrients where you're over/under. I'd stick with the calories and just be careful you're not regularly going over and that it's balanced near enough at the end of the week. :)…

Mine definitely isn't! We're totally undermanned so there's not much time off for PT! On top of that, the hours can be strange which cause eating time problems! On top of that... when someone passes a test/examination (which seems to be a least once a week!) they have to bring in cakes... likewise when several have had a…

Hear Hear! Agree with all the above!

Think the eating thing is a must.... I try to eat more at the weekends, simply as its easier to get the calories in then! Never go over my calories though (if I do its by like less than 10!) I try to make my diet protein rich but bad fat free and eat lots of fresh fuit, veg and grains! I put in a few treats - like as it's…

I've already read that article, unfortunately I find it a bit too generic. It doesn't really explain how to avoid it yet train every day and also if I CAN run every day my long distances or if I have to break my phys up and cross train instead.... Thanks for the effort though :)

Typical journalistic spin to make you read - It's not the running - just the fact they're stuffing their cake 'oles with a lotta cake because they think they've "earned" extra and of the bad stuff!

Please, apply some common sense... Did you even bother to look at the packet or think before you wrote this. It's made from flour. It contains carbohydrates.

Yup, 'fraid to say it's probably dehydration and not hunger. You're not using your muscles and the energy expenditure of the chemical processes of tanning aren't significant. Keep hydrated throughout.... PS Tanning is bad for you! It's damaging your skin! You may end up skinny from dieting, but you'll look like a saddle…

I started by running small distances a few times a week (3 or 4) with rest days, then I started upping the distance, then I started getting more regular. Now I pretty much run every day. I ran 15.9Km today, I struggles to run 5 back in December! As in lots of stop/start/walk ... now I have managed to get down to 8 minute…

Wholeheartedly agree... Especially the Nike Determination one ... great fit, great support, stylish and VERY comfortable. No bits to dig in/rub chafe ... cross backed halter http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0046J9BI8/ref=asc_df_B0046J9BI84758002/?tag=googlecouk06-21&creative=22134&creativeASIN=B0046J9BI8&linkCode=asn
