Today it was a banana, apple, and grapes. I love a corn tortilla with melted cheese rolled up with salsa inside. You can make up several days' supply of mixed grain (gf, of course) hot cereal and portion it out and just take it with you to work and microwave it. I love this with pure maple syrup or honey. I load mine up…

My policy is not to concern myself with the activities people log. I've been known to log "jumping to conclusions" and "flying off the handle" as activities. That burns a lot of calories--I estimate about 5000, at least!

Good for you and best wishes for permanent success! I discovered that giving up glutinous products like wheat, barley, and rye greatly alleviated my joint pain. I had begun to think I would just have to live with arthritic pain because "everyone develops arthritis as he/she gets older" according to more than one doctor I…

You may find that the gluten free diet will help the arthritis. It did for me. Good luck with everything.

What! There's a thyroid cleanse?? Oh my! I simply must know about this ! It sounds like something I can't wait to miss

Awesome! Can't wait to see more!

Thank you, sister Pen, for that enlightening testimony! I, too, have not been diagnosed as celiac. My sis-in-law was told that her anemia was due to celiac disease. I've had severe anemia requiring transfusions on several occasions. Each time, they would put me through all kinds of tests including colonoscopy and other…

Now that's what I call a rant! Good job, CM! Oh, and "Shoulda been gone!" Knowing how that compliment made you feel!

Above me. Oh, and I give a 10 rating:wink:

Oh, yeah, I just love my sucrose. Wouldn't trade it for any other sweetener except for maybe stevia occasionally. I like the fact that you can get a large bag of it (sucrose, that is) for only about $1.50-$2.00.

I agree with this one and do be careful what you eat for the first few weeks. Your body will adjust and you should be able to eat pretty much what you want after that. At least that was my experience, not saying it's the same for everyone.(Disclaimer!)

I keep hoping he'll move in with one of them, but no such luck!! LOL! Just kiddin' ya'll! Don't get all fired up! Really, if you don't have trust in a relationship, you're just gonna be miserable. Unless you get positive proof that he/she can't be trusted, just opt for trust.

I'm offended that I can't watch the video on my husband's laptop as it requires an update to that "Acrobat" thing and I don't dare update anything on his 'puter! Glad the rest of you could get a good laugh, though. I love to laugh so I'm just gonna laugh because everybody does! Oh,.... wait! I'm sposed to report that I'm…

I recently decided to go gluten free because one of my MFP friends posted his testimony on how it had helped his joint pain. I had pretty much the same results--joint pain subsided and energy level went up. Then for about a week (from Thanksgiving until the following Friday) I ate wheat products such as stuffing, yeast…

I recently tried going wheat/gluten free after reading GorillaEsq's testimony(hilarious story, btw). I had pretty much the same results he did. Joint pain began to go away and I felt more energetic. Then Thanksgiving happened, and I just had to eat my daughter's delicious stuffing and homemade dinner rolls. Then a few days…

Never engage in a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent! Don't worry if you don't have time to do it right the first time. You'll probably have time to do it over. (jk!) Don't let that boy come over when we're not home. (my mother) Definitely should have heeded this one!'

Have not tried just plain phentermine, but tried Phen-fen one day years ago (a friend had them). I felt as if there were thousands of needles sticking me in the head. I promised God if He would let me get through it, I would never take another! LOL! I never did again, but I know different people have had different…

Cinnamon, chopped apples, raisins, and chopped walnuts. You can cook several days' worth and refrigerate in individual servings or all together. I sweeten with either Stevia, honey, or pure maple syrup. As another person posted, steel cut oats are better than oatmeal, but take longer to cook. Some nutritionists claim the…
